Hosting two bedrooms; a king-size double with en-suite, a small double and additional Z bed with memory foam mattress, and a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a kitchen, and a sitting room with dining area, balcony and electric stove. To the outside is roadside permit parking at the front of the property and on nearby streets. Located in a wonderful setting with lovely views over the sea and castle, Archie's Anchor is a delightful cottage in England.



The Neighborhood:

The English seaside town of Scarborough has been welcoming holiday makers for many years and still retains many of its original fine buildings. The North Bay has a safe, sandy beach whilst the golden sands of South Bay are broken by a rocky headland on which stands Scarborough Castle. The castle was built in the reign of King Stephen and has had a rich and varied history, making it well worth exploring. Peasholm Park has a lake where all sorts of boats can be hired from rowing boats to dragon headed pedalos, and visitors can while away the time messing about on the water.
