"The initial arrival when we parked in the public parking raised some concerns, however the lovely hotel security lady quickly intervened and directed us to the proper hotel parking, from that point it was fantastic! The room was spotless, big and well appointed. But THE VIEWS!… WOW!!! The hotel certainly lives up to the name! The staff were all brilliant from the moment we arrived to the point we had to sadly check out. We will be back again!!"

"Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue"

"The ideal place to stay on the Garden Route as approximately halfway.However more importantly The Trading Place exudes a beautiful calm rustic charm, exemplifed by the host. The most delicious breakfast awaits you at a time of your choce, the bread is homemade. Highly recommended is their preordered pizza in the evening. "The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps. "

"We had 2 nights at oakhurst and really relaxed. The staff were so helpful and could not have done more to ensure we had a good stay. We enjoyed running in the woods, swimming in the dam and chilling in the hot tub."
