"It was a really pleasant stay all staff was so lovely, everything was lovely and relaxing i would most definitely stay again, shame the weather let us down a bit but still had a great stay. The only thing that was missing a mirror in the room to get ready hair etc."

"Great central location with parking, just off the beaten track and a nice garden that badgers visit regularly. Sadly the ground floor room I stayed in had no outside view. The tall window was opaque for privacy reasons but the top half could have been left to be able to see outside. Felt a little claustrophobic. The proprietor was warm and friendly. "

"This was our first stay at this property which was very conveniently located within Ambleside. We were warmly welcomed at the properly and had a lovely room, very comfortable and smart. There was plenty of space to store clothes and the bathroom and other room. I have only left off a rating for the Eco-friendliness because I wasn’t really paying attention to this aspect of our stay so isn’t really fair to rate. "Beautiful restoration of an old building with more work to be done on the windows and sills. Lovely, welcoming owners who were very helpful with any of our needs. Breakfast requirements texted the night before and ready for us at the specified time. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom with easy to use shower. Car parking space. What's not to like?"

"I enjoyed my stay at The Edwardene. Excellent location in Keswick. Very pretty property. Very clean room. The staff members were all very kind. I was able to drop off my bag early, which I was grateful for. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again in the future if I'm ever back in Keswick. Thank you!"
