Hidden Villa Oasis: Infinity Pool & Ocean Views near Dominical

A private 3-bedroom, 3-bath jungle villa on 5 acres above Dominicalito Bay, with panoramic ocean views from every room and an infinity-edge pool facing the sunset. Wake up to toucans, collect fresh eggs from our chickens, and explore your own river and waterfall. Our in-house cook makes traditional Costa Rican breakfasts, and Dominicalito beach and the Pozo Azul waterfall are just minutes down the hill.

THE VILLA
A spacious tropical-modern home set back from the road behind a private gated entrance. Three bedrooms, each with a queen bed and its own full bathroom. One bedroom opens to a secluded garden with an outdoor shower and bathtub. The great room brings the kitchen, dining and living areas together in one open plan built for indoor-outdoor living.

The living area opens onto a patio with a large natural-wood dining table beside the infinity plunge pool, the best seat in the house for sunset over the Pacific.

THE LAND
The 5-acre finca runs down the slope below the house: an organic garden, fruit trees, a pineapple patch, friendly chickens, and a private river and waterfall to explore. Fresh eggs are gathered for you daily. Toucans, howler monkeys and agoutis are regular visitors.

MEALS AND SERVICES
Our housekeeper and cook, Yigzy, makes traditional Costa Rican breakfasts of gallo pinto, eggs from our chickens, plantains, seasonal fruit, coffee and juice. A one-week stay includes 3 breakfasts. Extra breakfasts, lunches and dinners can be booked in advance. Your on-site property managers, Cheyenne and Josh, live next door and can arrange surf lessons, board rentals, fishing, rafting, hiking and waterfall tours.

THE LOCATION
Tucked into the jungle hills of Dominicalito, between Dominical and Uvita on Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast. The Pozo Azul waterfall and rope swing is a 3-minute drive below the house. Dominicalito beach, one of the best places in the country to learn to surf, is a few minutes further down. Dominical is about 10 minutes north; Uvita and Marino Ballena National Park, known for whale watching, are about 20 minutes south.

GOOD TO KNOW
- A 4x4 is needed for the steep gravel road up to the house. 4x4 rentals are easy to find in Costa Rica and we're happy to recommend companies.
- The closest airport is Quepos, with SANSA flights from San José.
- The infinity pool is not fenced and is easy to reach from the open-plan house. Children must be supervised at all times.
- Ceramic tile inside and on the patio can be slippery when wet.
- There are exterior security cameras on the property.
