"My sisters and I and our husbands met for a family reunion and enjoyed a 2 week stay at this beautiful home. The river views are amazing, so relaxing on the deck, we were even treated to a rainbow. The variety of birds were amazing. Did a fun genealogy hunt, working through family cemeteries. Can't wait to come back - thanks so much, Chris and Holly, for hosting us!"

"We came for a weekend getaway for our anniversary and it was a great time! So peaceful and exactly as described, we were not ready to leave. Definitely looking to come back! "

"Everything was just as described. The property was gorgeous, as well as unique. Jill, responded quickly & even mailed me an item I left behind. Our only issue was we didn’t get to spend as much time as we wanted because we were at the wedding venue all day Friday & Saturday. So, we will definitely book again when we have time to just sit & relax. "

"I'll start by saying we really loved this property. If I could afford it, I'd buy it. The location is remote which I love, but it does take a while to get anywhere from there so bring provisions. The property needs some TLC too, for example there are rotten planks and exposed rusty screws facing up on the dock. The boat house lifts don't work, yet they are still in place preventing you from bringing your boat in. It would be tricky parking a bigger boat (say 25ft) on the outside. The...

"This is a lovely property .. the river view in the enclosed porch is so relaxing and we loved it.The owner has provided a very inviting property experience and this is our second time staying here when we visit friends. We hope to return next year.."

"First night in first cabin was horrible, spider webs everywhere. Very dirty and nasty. Could not sleep. Next day we got to move to another cabin. You would think they would have given us our money back for first night, but didn’t even offer. I have pictures of how nasty it was!"
