Tasteful Two Bedroom on Warren Square with Parking by Lucky Savannah

The bright exterior of our two-bedroom, two-bath Harper House cheerfully welcomes you to this unique vacation property. Located directly across from Warren Square on the first floor of a historic, two-story Victorian home, Harper House can comfortably accommodate up to six Lucky guests for a true “live like a local” Savannah experience.

The understated elegance of the living area comes from the high ceilings, original, decorative hearth and tasteful furnishings. A wall-mounted, flat-screen TV and queen sleeper-sofa modernize the living space. Original pocket doors, a classic feature in Victorian homes, separates the living area from the Premium bedroom. The original hardwood floors extend into the Premium bedroom, where you’ll find another decorative hearth, mirrored armoire and a carved wooden headboard above the king-size bed.

Spacious, warm and bright, the completely renovated, eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything you’ll need to prepare meals at home. Just off the kitchen is the second bedroom, which has a queen bed and fully renovated, en suite bath with a large vanity.

Step outside to the cozy, private courtyard where a bistro set waits for you to enjoy your morning coffee, and a gas grill is available for bbq-ing on a sunny Savannah afternoon. You’ll be just minutes from the excitement of River Street, with Savannah’s best shopping, dining and historic attractions all within walking distance.

Location cannot be beat!

The location, property, and communication set this apart from many others. The property manager was fantastic when I had access issues after misreading the instructions - even with a late night arrival. They were very responsive. The property is nice and well kept. The location is a 10 minute, shaded walk to one end of town or a 5 minute relaxing walk to River Street. Having a parking place was also a big plus. You will not be disappointed with this one

Nice location

Pros:The location was very nice, just on the eastern side of the historic district, walkable just about everywhere within a few blocks. Trolley pick up is just outside your door. The place was clean. Parking is right outside your door in a lot. Bathrooms updated.Cons:Its a good place to stay if location is your main objective. The place is old and a little run downish. Everything in Savannah is older and has charm, this just didn't have a lot of the charm part. You enter thought the back fence which is fine. I believe there are other units in this large house but ours faced a parking lot. The master bedroom has an old wooden sliding door that probably needs replaced. There are 2 bedrooms and neither had a TV. This might be ok for some folks but we had some kids and it would've been nice at night have the option. Also, I did contact the property manager via text and never got a response about a blanket for the sofa bed. We managed, we're not picky.Overall, we had a pretty good time but doubt we would stay at this particular location again.

Great location

The location was perfect for exploring the historic district. The apartment was quaint, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. It was great having a dedicated parking spot. We specifically wanted a place with an outside area, which it has, but it wasn’t anything notable and ended up never using it.The management company was so helpful. They let us store our luggage at their office while we were waiting for check in time, and went above and beyond answering our questions.

Great location

Perfect place for a family near lots of places to eat, etc. Especially if you plan to attend the annual St. Patrick's day parade. Love the park across the street and appreciated the representative helping me access the property. She was very patient!

Close to everything

We came to Savannah to drop of our college student. I love the location. It was close to Funky Brunch, Java Burrito, and Leopold’s ice cream. A short walk to River Street. It is in a quiet section of Congress Street. Check in was seamless. Directions were on point. We will be back. Thank you!

Great location

Harper house is in a good location close to most everything. For a house over 100 yrs old it is well maintained. Instructions to enter the property was easy to follow. The home was very clean and had no bugs as mentioned in previous reviews. The lack of water pressure when showering was a negative. Don’t flush the toilet when someone is showering because the water pressure gets worse. The king mattress and sofa mattress are uncomfortable. The queen bed was very comfortable. Pros: Great location Ease of access of property Very clean Well stock with necessities Communication with Lucky Savannah Cons: Lack of water pressure King mattress had no support and is sagging in spots. Sleeper sofa mattress very thin and lumpy.

Cozy, nice and exactly pictured. Parking was a plus. Front bedroom does pick up street noise as the day traffic picks up. Being across the street from Warren Square was a big plus, just stroll across street with coffee!

Quick Get-away From Middletown MO

My husband and I rented the property very last minute. The process is easy to use. Lockbox and codes work properly. Except the front door lockbox, to exit needs opened. For safety reasons we wanted to test that exit and we were unsuccessful to open that box. Other than that all was very nice. The location is very good on the square.
