"It was close to arenas - easy to get to. Parking was tricky with 4 vehicles but manageable. Thought there was a hot tub but maybe meant the tub in the bathroom! Overall would book again!"

"Stayed with friends while visiting soo friends. the picture are not marketing this place at it's best. This place is the old city jail that was turned into a living quarter. the lounge area was big enough to have a few friends over for dinner and drinks overlooking an amazing gas fireplace. we took picture of friend with old shackle in front of jail door with bars. the kitchen is a huge commercial one and everything you need for a nice stay.the bathroom is big and shower pressure is great....

"Great experience. Very clean, comfy beds, fantastic kitchen. The handle on the master bedroom didn’t turn from the inside, so I was locked in my room. That needs to be fixed. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!"

"My mom and I stayed during our visit to Sault Ste. Marie for my daughter’s wedding. The house was a perfect place to come, and relax after some wedding prep. We used the kitchen to prep some goodies for the reception, and there was plenty of room. Everything was in great, working order! We did contact Althea since we had a little trouble signing on to the WiFi, but she was quick to respond. As stated in other reviews, the street was busy, but not horrible. We had no troubles navigating in and...

"Our trip was to visit cousins and Modern Luxury worked out great! The location was excellent and the space fit our needs. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area again. Highly recommend. "

"Seniors should be warned of long stairs to access accommodation. And air conditioners are very noisy. Mattresses could be firmer. Otherwise a nice accommodation."

"I booked the house to visit family in the area. It was a great choice for my adult children to be able to stay with us all in one place. The location was great for where I needed to be. The place was very clean! The host was very easy to communicate with. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend! "

"The property was exactly as advertised and working with Greg was great. Only minor issue was miscommunication for check-in but resolved in just a few minutes. There was plenty of space to spread out for a family of 5 and lots of space to lay-out gear to dry each night. Neighbors were friendly and the location is easy to get to skiing/downtown and from the border. "

"Everything was as it should be- sort of.. This place sleeps up to 8 but only 2 can sit to together for meals....The NEST thermostat was problematic, never allowing cool nights for sleep. The location is ideal for accessing HWY17 north out of town and close to retail chains and restaurants."

"Loved our experience staying here and exploring the Soo. Had all the amenities and even had a few extras we were not expecting. I was able to view the aurora borealis from the back yard during our stay as well and this became an even more special experience for us. Thank you for hosting and highly recommend. "
