A place you can come to rest and rejuvenate your soul, all surrendered by an exhuberant tropical setting. Relax in its large infinity pool and sweeping 180 degrees ocean view. The pool is surrounded by a gorgeous mirador, plus a large covered terrace where you will admire the stunning views. The upper terrace provides another place to relax and enjoy the ocean view while you listen to soft music, enjoy a cocktail drink or read a book.
The property is 7.700 mts2 (2 acres) and it has a 900 mts2 (9,687 ft2) main house. It offers 4 king bed Bedrooms and 3 Bedrooms with 2 Queen beds in each room. Every bedroom has A/C, en suite bathroom, safebox and private balcony with ocean and pool views. It is the perfect retreat for family reunions, couples vacation, corporate meetings, celebrations, weedings, or a vacation with a group of friends. Villa Preciosa has a sleeping capacity of 24 people.
Our all inclusive plan provides 3 meals per day, snacks and open bar for an extra charge, or you can bring your own liquor and the bartender will be happy to prepare you the most delicious cocktails. The house has a chef, a chef assistance, two housekeeper and a bartender who come every morning before breakfast. In advance to your trip to Costa Rica we will review the proposed menu with you in order to customize our client´s preferences, including special dietary needs.

A-Plus All The Way

Our group was 6 women. The house and view were as you see them in the pictures - wonderful. The owner, Carlos, came by daily to check that all was as we wished. The real stars go to the staff. Bianca and Karol wiped/swiped/swept/cleaned every day. Jennifer prepared 3 lovely/delicious meals daily. Then there is Jimmy - not only is he an excellent bartender, he made sure all special food requests were addressed, arrangements for excursions and special trips requested were done efficiently and expeditiously. Carlos and Jimmy arranged our airport transports and the 3 excursions. The excursions were very successful mostly due to our guide, Ray. If we ever return to Costa Rica this villa will be our choice.

Best Vacation EVER!!!

I am not sure there are enough positive words to describe how amazing our week was at Villa Preciosa. We were a group of 10 very close friends celebrating some major milestones. The Villa offers stunningly beautiful views of the ocean and islands in the distance accentuated by the gorgeous infinity edge pool. We enjoyed several local activities including an amazing day on Atenea (Carlos's beautiful yacht) with lunch provided on the beach. But, the icing on the cake for all of us was Jimmy and the wonderful staff at Villa Preciosa. Jimmy was at our beck and call every day making us the best drinks, serving us at every meal, and generally taking care of our every request. Jennifer and Ana made the most delicious meals....we were amazed that every meal was better than the last! The housekeepers, Karole and Bianca, made up our rooms every day and kept the whole house tidy while being very non-intrusive....we barely noticed they were there. Also, Carlos, the Villa owner, checked in on us every day to make sure all was well. He is very accommodating and easy to work with in the planning process. At the end of the day, I could go on and on about this wonderful Villa and the amazing staff. We arrived as guests and left feeling as though we were saying goodbye to family. We are all so grateful for the memories that will stay with us always. All I can say is...Carlos, Jimmy, Jennifer, Ana, Karole and Bianca....thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Pura Vida!

Pura Vida!!!

Had a great family vacation in Costa Rica. All I can say about this property is WOW!!!! Carlos the owner is such a nice man. He truly cares about you and making your vacation everything you need it to be. Jimmie, Sophia and Jose started out as extremely helpful and attentive staff but ended up as our friends. I have never been to a place that truly made you feel at home. I highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Costa Rica to stay at Villa Preciosa! The country is beautiful, and the people are genuine, friendly and amazing. I left Costa Rica and Villa Preciosa with knowing the true meaning of PURA VIDA!!! Thank you, Carlos, Jimmie, Sophia and Jose. You all have become family and will remain in our lives forever.

Family vacation

This property is everything in the introduction, and more. Reading other reviews before we booked this beautiful home, made it clear it is extraordinary - and after first hand experience - it is! The home is a home in every sense of the word. The staff are welcoming and genuine. The owner is also and always has time to visit. There was a comfort level that was evident and made our relaxing vacation even more special. ANY request we had was graciously fulfilled, whether it was a special meal request, a beverage request, or help with an excursion. We had 3 fluent Spanish speaking individuals in our group, but as Carlos and Jimmy are fluent in English, my adult children used Spanish in conversations more out of respect than anything. Where to begin..... this was the vacation of a life time. My five adult children, their spouse, and I had so much quality time together and that is something you can't take lightly. We laughed so much and created so many memories that are precious to us forever now. Thank you does not seem to be enough for what we experienced in our 10 days - however, THANK YOU Carlos, Jimmy, Jose, Sonia, Carol and Bianca. I hope maybe someday we are able to return to see all of you again! Vaya con Dios.

Beautiful vacation home!

Ten of us spent the past week at this beautiful home and had a wonderful time! The house is quite large with plenty of room to spread out. The views were awesome and the meals were amazing. The best part of our stay was Jimmy, the bartender and overall helpful assistant. He was very personable, always has a smile on his face and just made us feel like family. The chefs were also great and remembered food preferences the first day. The housekeepers came every morning and made our beds, tidied up and cleaned the pool area, where we spent a lot of our time. Carlos, the owner, stopped by every day to see if we needed anything, etc., which was really nice. Definitely a week of pampering!

An Incredible Stay

We cannot say enough about the villa and staff. The villa was just breath taking. The staff was there for us every moment of our stay and was always looking to help. It was so nice to see staff that truly seemed to enjoy their work and interacting with the guests. Also, it was so nice to see the owner come to the property. In the past we have had issues with properties and absentee owners. Never a concern here. First there were no issues and, even if there was Carlos was there every day to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We cannot wait to go back.

Family vacation

We were a family of 15 and we had a wonderful time. The host and staff are the most amazing people. If we needed anything or had questions about where to go for a day trip, we just had to ask. The food was excellent. We did a half day on one of the boats (sunset cruise) was so worth it and again the staff on the boat were excellent. The view from the house is more spectacular in person then in a picture.Saying that, the pictures for this property are right on. Thank you

Pura Vida!

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we were treated as pampered guests. 11 friends enjoyed the beauty of Costa Rica & Villa Preciosa. We were greeted by Carlos & Jimmy & immediately enjoyed the outdoor area with beverages & appetizers. 3 very tasty meals per day were included plus an afternoon snack. Rooms were spacious & comfortable. Jose & Guadalupe provided healthy & plentiful meals. Lupita organized transportation both ways from the airport in Liberia as well as an excursion to the rain forest. We rented the 53’ yacht & spent half day enjoying the water, our time in the cove, & the add-on jet ski, which we all shared. While on board we were treated to an extensive array of snacks while sipping cocktails, beer & wine, which we assumed was our lunch but, ‘oh no,’ lunch was served when we returned to the Villa. The only time we felt compelled to watch TV was during the NFL playoffs which were available on a large screen TV. Our trip to the rain forest was pleasant though we didn’t see as many creatures in the wild as we would have liked. The infinity pool was well-used day & night. Note the Villa is high in the hills & not a very easy walk to Ocotal Beach though some of us more adventurous did make the hike. Fear not. For a reasonable fee, Jimmy transported us to various areas. I have already recommended this to 3 friends & will continue to do so. Thank you, Carlos, Jimmy, Jose, Guadalupe, the young women who cleaned every day, & Lupita. Pura Vida!

Wonderful view, great for family gathering but food was too little.

We stayed at this home for our 10year Wedding anniversary. Pros: The view can’t get any better, the setup of the house is ideal for a family gathering (separate bedrooms with bath, large dining area, nice outdoor area), outdoor area is well maintained, friendly staff. The infinity pool with the view is outstanding! Improvement opportunities: Dinner portion sizes were very small (when we asked if they had some extra as some people were still hungry the feedback was that there is no more, which was disappointing). While we mentioned that some people don’t eat shrimp or fish ahead of time, there was not great flexibility on this. Some issues with water pressure in bathroom showers.

Exceptional!

The view really is that spectacular! Carlos is the most charming and helpful host. Given our family of 14, aged from 3 to 73, some pescatarians, one who hates fish, 3 grandchildren with dietary restrictions, and one who's just a picky eater, we all were perfectly fed by Jose and Guadalupe. Jimmy handled our day to day requests and needs impeccably. His warmth and joy greeted us every morning and his smoothies and drinks are already missed.. We rented both the 50' boat for fishing and the 75' boat for snorkeling, etc.. The sunset we experienced on the latter was magical. During our stay, there were several house issues that occurred, but we were extremely impressed with how they were handled. I wished the pool was heated, but because it's beautifully settled in the shade we at least didn't need to use sunscreen.. All in all, I cannot say enough how great our week was. We'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Most relaxing vacation.

Carlos is an amazing host. His Villa is beautiful, clean and very roomy. His house staff is “out of this world”. The delicious meals prepared by Jose and Guadalupe were 5 ⭐️. Jimmy was always there to help us..and the most attentive bartender. Carol and Bianca kept the house spotless..despite 12 people..including 6 teenagers!!!! Jimmy served as driver…even to the dr. You will not be disappointed in this VRBO. On top of that, Costa Rica is beautiful!!!!

5 Stars without Exception!!

Our family of 13 spent a week at Villa Preciosa to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Grandparents, kids, and grandkids (6 between the ages of 7 and 14). The villa lives up to everything that you see on the site and incredibly the staff is even better!! They are super people that cater to your every need, which can be a challenge when addressing the preferences of kids. Jimmy covers all of the bases: bartender, smoothie maker (kids favorite), driver, entertainer with an incredible, contagious personality. Jose the chef assisted by Guadalupe, is a fantastic cook! All of the meals were great! The housekeepers also kept the place immaculate! Carlos, the owner, made frequent visits to the villa to make sure that any of our needs were met. While we were there, we also made use of one of his boats which can be chartered. A snorkeling/beach activity trip followed up by a fishing charter were great! The captain and staff were super, helping the kids, always at the ready, whether fitting snorkel gear or helping with the fishing. While at the villa, you should make use of Lupita. She was fantastic, arranging for any local, and not so local activities (river falls hike, rain forest hanging bridges, coffee tour, zip lining). She has a great staff of drivers, comfortable and clean vans/buses and tour guides that made our trip over the top. Our visit truly fulfilled the meaning of the Pura Vida!!

Villa Preciosa Wedding

We had such a wonderful time at Villa Preciosa. Everything was as described and the estate was gorgeous. This place was worth every penny. We had a wedding for 15 at the villa and they were so helpful and accommodating. They made us feel so welcomed. Carlos and his staff were darlings especially our bartender, Jimmy. The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing. The staff was truly the reason we all had such a memorable experience. We would book again just for Jimmy. His drinks were that good! We all just loved him so much. Thank you for helping us make our little dream wedding come true. It was more than we could have imagined. Pura Vida!!

Cannot overstate how perfect our vacation has been! The villa and pool is spectacular and the views are amazing! But the best part was the staff. We had a wonderful experience! The view from the property, especially the pool, was gorgeous. Jimmy and all the staff were great. The owner even checked in to be sure everything was in order. Loved it!

Unbelievable house and view. The staff was fantastic and all the food was great. Carlos was easy to communicate with before the trip and helped us with excursions. Jimmy in the house made the best drinks and really added to the overall experience, helping us with whatever we needed. Couldn’t be happier about it all

Great property and outstanding service!

The property and staff are wonderful! They made our trip to Costa Rica one we will never forget. Everything was so easy, from the time of booking, questions before arrival, booking transportation, excursions, their communication and help was top notch! The food and drinks were excellent. Leading up to the trip we found it hard to believe that one place could have so many 5 start reviews. However, once we got there, we could see why. This place will not disappoint. The views are incredible, the food was five star and the villa is perfect. What made the experience above all others for us was the amazing staff. We felt like we were family and were treated with such kindness and generosity every day. A big thanks to Carlos, Jimmy, Jose, Guadalupe, Karol and Bianca. You made our week! As far as activities go, we would definitely recommend the fishing and boat tours on the Atenea Yacht. Those were by far our favorite days other than just enjoying the villa. If you already have your trip planned, you are in for a real treat. If you are still undecided, book it now. It will be the best decision you will make! Thanks Carlos from your Canadian friends.

This house was absolutely wonderful with a view to be surpassed by no other! The house is spacious and very clean. The staff was extremely accomodating . The food was fabulous and the afternoon and evening drinks were delicious!! You just drive the hill and arrive at a beautiful beach with monkeys swinging in the trees. We couldn't have had a more enjoyable time. My children and grandchildren will remember it foerever. Thank you Jimmy, Jose, Carlos and the ladies!!!!!

Perfect for family gathering!

We took our whole family to Costa Rica! The Villa was so spacious and comfortable. We had lots of room for our kids and grandkids to have quiet separate spaces. And, large spaces to gather and enjoy each other. It was really great to have delicious food and beverages prepared for us. Chef Jose and Guadalupe did an excellent job preparing food for us and more simple fare for toddlers. Jimmy was so accommodating and hospitable. Preparing our favorite drinks as well as driving us to local spots. He took great care of us! Thanks Carlos for sharing your beautiful Villa and giving us everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Costa Rica! Come see us in Alaska!!
