Private entrance to Guest Suite in a residential home with private full bathroom, kitchenette, sink and countertop, fridge and freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. This provides ample utility but it is not suited for cooking.

Located in a popular neighborhood just off Siesta Key called Gulf Gate with over 100 shops including bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and much more

The Neighborhood
Gulf Gate is a very popular residential neighborhood because of its closeness to everything – golf, shopping, restaurants and Siesta Key Beach. You can walk or bike on the streets. The area has retirees, young professionals, and growing families. It is located about 5 minutes from Siesta Key, 15 minutes from downtown Sarasota, and 20 minutes to the Sarasota International Airport (SRQ)

Gulf Gate Village is closeby with over 150 shops, bakeries and cafes, coffee shops, bars and restaurants, grocery stores and retail shopping and much more..

The location was excellent, and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. The privacy fence was nice. Terrence also texted us the best recommendations. I would say he was the best host we have ever had. Quiet, cozy, and very safe.

Communication with my host, Terry, was great. He walked me through the features of the property and was very friendly and informative. The property met all of my needs in a very clean and comfortable environment. The location was excellent with easy access to Sarasota’s beaches, restaurants and other features of the area.

Nous revenons de notre séjour en Floride et le logement chez Terrance a été de loin notre préféré. Nous avons eu la chance de le rencontrer dès notre arrivée, puis d’échanger avec lui durant notre séjour. Il nous a donné de nombreuses recommandations pour découvrir la ville. Le logement était propre, le grand lit très confortable, la cuisine bien équipée. Le quartier est résidentiel et c'était calme. Nous avons adoré Sarasota et que dire de Siesta Beach… une plage magnifique au sable blanc. À ne pas manquer absolument : le dimanche soir, au coucher du soleil, le concert de percussions du Siesta Key Drum Circle, une expérience magique. Nous espérons sincèrement revenir en Floride, et tout particulièrement à Sarasota, dans le logement de Terrance que nous recommandons vivement.

Terry's place was perfect for our needs, location and comfort. He is extremely helpful and friendly, yet respectful of your privacy. We would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room even though we weren't able to enjoy the outside area due to rain. Siesta Key is an amazing place and having his help to adventure outside of it was fantastic. Clean, plenty of towels (bath and beach), small coolers/chairs/umbrellas for the beach, and a large TV. One thing to note is there is a slotted door connected to his side, but it was not an issue at all.Much more comfortable and quieter than a hotel, highly recommended!!

Great location and Terry was great. We didn’t get to meet up with him because we were out and about to the beach and restaurants and get the most out of our time while we were there but he was in touch with us and attentive to anything we needed. Great stay in siesta key!!

Terrys place was very homey! Clean, functional and close to all of the attractions but especially the beach! We walked to breakfast every morning at a great little diner that was part of the charm and legacy of the area! Terry supplied bikes, coolers, list of attractions ! And even a new toothbrush for those like me who forgot theirs! Would recommend highly!!

Schöner Aufenthalt

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft, alles war sehr sauber sowie ein Geschenk von Terry. Im Kühlschrank war Wasser/Cola etc. für uns. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht und wir konnten alles benutzen. Terry hat uns Tipps gegeben was in der Umgebung alles ist. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem schönen Wohngebiet, sehr ruhig, aber doch sehr zentral, 10 Minuten zum Siesta oder Turtle Beach.Der Aussenbereich wäre schöner, wenn dort ein paar Lichter wären und evtl. andere Sitzgelegenheiten, diese waren morgens sehr nass. Für den Strandtag waren Stühle und ein Sonnenschirm da. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Terry is a wonderful host who cares about his guests and goes way above and beyond to accommodate all requests. When I asked about good restaurants and directions to the town where I planned to walk, he pulled out two bikes and off we went for a personal tour of a very quaint small town just a few blocks away! Over my 3-day stay I went to every place he recommended all were great! His attention to detail in the cozy and quiet room made the stay delightful. Thank you Terry for being a great host!
