"Like another review stated, we wish we booked a longer stay at Tagus Marina Houseboat! We booked this for our last night in Lisbon, to be close to the airport and to surprise the kids with a neat experience and did we ever succeed! The houseboat was fully equipped for longer stays and was extremely comfortable for us 4 - two adults, two children (9&7). "Lisbon was our first stop on the trip, and Maggie was incredibly warm and welcoming. Check-in was quick. The apartment is spacious and clean, exactly as shown in the photos. Having access to laundry during our stay was very helpful. It’s located in a lively central area, with Zara right next door and within walking distance of almost everything. "This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. I am there for work, so I have ideal access for where I need to be, in an extremely comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and great facilities (including breakfast, the pool, and the bars/restaurants), and (the highlight) to have near-direct access to an incredibly beautiful beach. "The apartment was dirty and in a poor state of repair. The bed was uncomfortable, the hardest we’ve ever slept on, with hard lumpy pillows. We had no toilet paper on arrival and despite what sapping the 24 hour help line it took over 24 hours to get toilet paper! However the worst thing about staying was the noise. "We had a wonderful time in Lisbon. There was an issue with the apartment that we had booked so they upgraded us into a two bedroom in another building they manage. The building was great, clean, and located just around the corner. We very much enjoyed our stay. We had some issues leading up to our stay communicating due to issues with the Expedia platform. Once we connected on WhatsApp, communication was easy and they were very responsive. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. "
