"Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise. "Room was charming. Breakfast was incredible. Was within a few blocks of many good restaurants. Was short walk to beahes, boardwalks and old city. Staff was helpful. Street parking was not an issue. Would definately stay again."

"We stayed in the 2nd building which was very quiet and peaceful except for a large dog in an adjacent home that was continually barking. Getting our luggage up the hill to that building was a huge challenge. There are no bell boys, carts, etc. So you will be on your own. This hotel has been upgraded beautifully since I stayed there in 2018. Very nice! Could use better lighting in the rooms. Very close to beautiful beaches, cliffs, lighthouse and restaurants. Try Onde Norte . . . Delicious food...
