"I have to say I was a bit worried when I was driving to the property as it’s not easy to get to, but once arriving, I was amazed by how beautiful both the whole hotel the grounds and the rooms were. It was like an oasis just beautiful. The staff was fantastic and giving recommendations for dinner and sites to see! Highly recommend recommended recommend!"

"Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. The pool is lovely, as is the walking in the countryside around the abbey - other than that there's not a lot to do other than soak up the atmosphere. We stayed for two dinners and one lunch. "Owner came to greet us because we took a wrong turn out of the parking garage a few blocks away from rental unit. Parking garage is necessary because property was in historic district. Steep roads to property were a bit of a challenge for my wife and I especially with luggage as we are in late 60’s. Would strongly recommend if you don’t mind the climb up the hill"
