Notes:
From 1 June to 30 September, the minimum booking is 7 nights from Monday to Monday. Check-in at 17:00h and check-out at 11:00h.
Outside this season the minimum booking is 5 nights with check-in and check-out times to be agreed upon.
A cleaning fee of 50 € is charged for each stay.
A fee of 25€/day will be charged for the use of the Bungalow (2 adults).
Internet hotspot available, free of charge.

With a prime location between the countryside and the beach, this 150 m2 house, almost 100 years old, carefully restored in 2015, has been fully equipped and decorated to ensure comfort and tranquility.

The House accommodates a maximum of 4 adults and two children. Plus 2 Adults on the Exterior Bungalow.

It has a suite with a private bathroom, a double bedroom, a social bathroom, a living and dining room, fully equipped kitchen.
All divisions are air-conditioned. The house is equipped with a SmartTV and cable channels.
Outside, the 80 m2 pergola and patio overlook the olive grove and the Alentejo landscape and are decorated with lamps, ottomans, sun loungers, tables, and chairs for alfresco dining. The barbecue is ideal for barbecues on warm summer evenings.

It has also a bungalow 80 meters from the main house, with a capacity for 2 people, and is equipped with a double bed, full bathroom, AC, and outside deck.

5 minutes from Cercal, where you can buy hot bread every day, and where there are supermarkets, restaurants, and a pharmacy.
10 minutes from the beaches of Malhão, Aivados, and Porto Côvo.

We were just so happy in this beautiful home. It is stylish, and homely, and the position is stunning. Sunshine all day and a choice of beautiful places to sit. The pool is perfect and our boys loved roaming free. It’s so peaceful and you can watch the sun setting. Not easy to put into words how special it is. The best memories made. A house to fall in love with

We had fantastic 2 weeks of vacation and can highly recommend it. The house provides the ideal base for activities like surfing or just relaxing and unwinding with its stunning view.The location is very quiet, which we enjoyed a lot, being used to a big city like Berlin. The house itself is charming, built and decorated with love and style. The attention to detail creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Contact and availability with the owner was easy going, very friendly and helpful, both upon arrival and throughout our stay, also providing useful tips about the area quickly responding to any questions we had. We can't wait to come back!

Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung

Sehr schönes Haus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allem Komfort , um sich gut zu erholen. Ein idealer Ort für Ruhe und Entspannung-Suchende in schöner Umgebung, tolle Terrasse, angenehmer Pool! Unkomplizierter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter bei Fragen oder Problemen! Kleine Anmerkung: Die Anfahrt zum Haus gstaltet sich etwas schwierig, da es 1,7 km über einen sehr unebenen, geschotterten Feldweg geht. Hätten wir im Vorfeld eine Info darüber gehabt, hätten wir die Auswahl des Mietwagens danach ausrichten können. Mit einem normalen PKW gestaltete sich jede An- und Abfahrt zu einem Abenteuer !

Beautiful, quiet place for all travelers!

If you enjoy the quiet countryside in a lovely home, but still close enough to many gorgeous beaches or mountains - this is for you! The bed was comfortable, kitchen stocked, everything needed for our week stay. We enjoyed Porto Covo for the small town feel with beautiful beaches, Vila nova de Milfontes for some history and cafes, Evora for a nice day trip. Carlos was a wonderful host providing tips for visiting places and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect stay in a beautiful location

We stayed in the house of Carlos and his family in August 2022 für 2 weeks. The time we spent here was just great. The check-in was done by the local housekeeper and was very nice and easy going. The house itself has a beautiful and really fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining/living room, 2 full bathrooms and two sleeping rooms with 2 beds each. In addition, there is a cozy little guesthouse on the property with bath and another double bed. The house is surrounded by a large terrace and the pool which we enjoyed a lot. It is cleaned twice a week and water temperature is high, great for the kids. Everything is very clean, the interior as well as the exterior is -to our regard- extremely tastefully designed and we really enjoyed staying at the house. The only difficult decision every day was whether staying at the house and pool or going to the beach; what a luxury problem... 😊 It takes ca. 5 minutes to reach the house from the street via a gravel road which brings you right into nature and away from crowds and tourists. The only thing you hear are birds and the bells from the cows, a perfect place to relax. To the beaches, it's a 20 min drive and many restaurants and supermarkets are also close by. The beaches close by are great, especially for kids and also surfing. We also traveled to the beaches north of Sines and south of Milfontes and liked these even better, driving takes around 35 minutes. Anyway, whatever you search for regarding beach life, you can find it within a short drive. Altogether, we had a wonderful time at this place and would be happy to come back. The house is highly recommended without any restrictions.

nothing but compliments, only 1 tip: a one pager with some local guidances (doctors, supermarkets, need for additional towels/toilet paper). the man that was present at our arrival only speaks portuguese and we didn't. although he was very friendly, he wasn't much of help

Pour ceux qui recherche le calme et confort

Très ravis de notre séjour. La maison est superbe et au calme. Le tout pas loin de l'océan et de ses plages. L'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. Pour être critique, il manque juste un carport pour protéger la voiture du soleil très fort en été. Mais la maison est parfaite. Carlos, nous reviendrons! Salutations

Un havre de paix

Une belle maison, décorée avec gout, très bien entretenue et équipée. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette propriété perdue au milieu des champs où règne un calme absolu, aucun vis à vis ou bruit autre que celui des oiseaux ou des cloches des vaches au loin. Le propriétaire est à l'écoute et vous accueille avec de délicates attentions. A recommander sans réserve.

Dream holiday

We spent 4 nights at Carlos's villa. We arrived late, but Carlos was very kind to organize a smooth check in for us despite us being behind the schedule. Carlos is very hospitable, he was in touch with us all the time throughout our stay in his villa and that made us feel very welcomed in his home. It was a bit hard to find the villa in the dark, so, perhaps, at least some indicative signs could help. When we managed to find the house, we were pleasantly surprised about its interior - everything is even better than it looks in the pictures. We had a good nights sleep and woke up with the sunrise to a dream - the villa is located on a hill, so you get an amazing view of the surrounding crop fields with a flock of cows and storks wandering around, lush orange trees next to the bungalow, crystal clear skies throughout the day and a pleasant breeze to cool you of during the heat. The villa is really lovely, every space is created thoughtfully and has many beautiful design details for you to feel at home. It is well equipped, there was no such thing we missed during our stay. Also the south west coast of Portugal is amazing, we started our trip just here and we can say that precisely this area of Portugal we enjoyed the most. Before our arrival Carlos sent us an email with a bunch of tips for local restaurants, shops, places to visit, etc., which were very helpful. We would like to thank Carlos very much for making our trip unforgettable! Highly recommended!

Beautiful Villa with stunning View

Beautiful place with everything you can ask for. There was nothing missing and the surrounding view was just stunning. Really quiet and remote area to perfectly relax. Communication with Carlos was always on point and very helpful with anything you need. I hope we will stay there again.

Magnifique!

La maison est sublime, située en haut d'un petit mont, elle offre une vue à 360° sur la campagne. La nuit, sur la terrasse, vous pourrez observer les étoiles sans quasiment aucune pollution lumineuse. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût et offre tout le confort moderne tout en ayant conservé son caractère authentique. La maison, bien que très isolée, est située à maximum 30 min de route des principaux points d'intérêts de la région (plages de Milfontes, le village de Porto Covo). Nous vous conseillons la randonnée dans les dunes d'Almograve qui offre des paysages inoubliables. Vous trouverez au village de Cercal, à 5 minutes en voiture, tous les commerces (supermarché, restaurants, pharmacie, boulangerie etc...). En résumé, un petit coin de paradis en Alentejo que nous recommandons sans aucune réserve.

A place for peace and comfort

The house is even better than shown in the pictures. Very clean, full of light and tastefully decorated. It has all you may need and is very well thought. The views are awesome and our kids had a lot of places to explore within the property. There are plenty of wonderful beaches and towns 20-25 minutes drive from the house. Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfonrtes, for example, are full of very nice restaurants. In any case the house is very close from Cercal where you can find all you want (supermarkets, pharmacy, health center, …) Claudia (the owner) was very nice and helpful. She had a local contact very friendly in case we could need anything. In short, the property has only one difficulty, … leaving it.
