Amazing Location with Outstanding Views: The Villa is positioned in an amazing location so it is strongly suggested you pack your binoculars, the sensational picturesque views from the Terrace/Patio area allow you to look out over the bay towards the islands of La Gomera and La Palma which you can see during your holiday. The most important view is certainly the cliff's of Los Gigantes which are completely awe inspiring and considering our villa is positioned next to the cliff's you will have your own private viewing 24 hours a day. The marina is situate below the Villa affording you fantastic views from the barranco of the small boats and fishing vessels leaving & entering the Marina. Look just outside the Marina and if you are lucky you will see bottle nose dolphins and common dolphins surfacing in the clear blue waters of the bay & if you are very fortunate you can even see long finned pilot whales, these animals are amazing & are well worth looking out for whilst you are relaxing and sunbathing on the villa terraces.

Nice view from terras, bigger than it looks on pictures

We loved our stay here. The swimming pool was nice for the kids. View fron terras beautiful. A 15 min walk to the harbor/city centre. Nice warm side of the island, not to windy.Keeper is friendly in communication and helpfull. The apperment was larger then expected from the photo’s en the kitchen was well stocked in cuttlery etc. We had a lovely stay here.

Great place for the fantastic views and if your fit on your legs as its a good walk to the square in los gianties , taxis no problem if required 5 euros in all its a spacious place everything you need

Nice place but water problems

The location is lovely and the view is great, as is the pool. We enjoyed grilling and otherwise cooking. As others have noted you can kinda hear the people upstairs when you're outside but it's not a bother. Janie and Gary, the onsite managers, were responsive and as helpful as they could be. The issue we had was with the water: two days of no hot water and then no water at all, which meant moving to a hotel at vast expense (difficult to find places last minute). We were ultimately out of the unit for 4 nights. Nick did reimburse us but sadly it didn’t cover the expense or the stress.

Perfect vacation base for staying with friends

Die Wirte Janie + Gary waren sehr Supporten, kommunikativ und liebenswürdig. Bei Fragen waren sie absolut schnell erreichbar und die Lösung erfolgte umgehend. Die Ausstattung der Villa war richtig gut und es fehlte höchstens ein scharfes Messer ( es ging aber auch ohne Probleme ohne dies ;-) ). Die Villa ist eingebettet in einem Komplex mit mehreren Apprtments, bei dem wir von den Nachbarn nie etwas mitbekommen haben. Wir würden die Gastgeber als auch die Villa jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Excellent Villa and Location

Very friendly check in on arrival and good communications. with Janie. We had everything we needed at the Villa which was well equipped. Located at the top of the road it was energy consuming walking up from the town. We had a hire car which was really useful for shopping and sight seeing.

Holiday Villa

This is a lovely property, but under no circumstances could it be called a Villa. It is a ground floor apartment, with another apartment above it. It is particularly disconcerting when the tenants in the apartment above are a party of at least eight who, when sitting on their balcony, end up overlooking the pool area of our apartment. Unless you are looking for an apartment, with overhanging neighbours, give it a wide berth.

Living the dream

4 weeks spent at this beautiful villa. Everything we needed for our stay was in the Villa. Beautiful outdoor space with an adequately sized pool, tables, chairs, parasols and barbecue. The lovely Janie, the property manager was there to greet us on arrival and showed us how everything worked and left us a few supplies to get us going. Juan, the pool man came twice a week to check the pool and clean up the dust from the outdoor area. Beautiful location overlooking the cliffs and the sea. A 5-10 minute walk into town but takes a bit longer if you walk back up the hill but taxis are available in town. Overall a wonderful time was had by all.

A lovely villa in a wonderful setting

The villa is in an excellent location, away from the centre of the town and with amazing views but only a 15 minute walk to the bars, cafes and restaurants. The villa is really well appointed and the living area is very comfortable. The pool and terrace are small but perfect for a family of four - in October, the terrace is in sun from lunchtime until sunset.

Lovely relaxing holiday

We stayed in Villa Boutique for 9 nights in August and had an absolutely lovely time there. Leading up to our stay, any questions we had were quickly answered by Nick to put us at ease. Upon arriving at the villa, Janie was there to greet us and show us around where we found all the essentials available for our arrival which was great given we had arrived late into the evening. The villa itself has everything you need, is clean, comfortable and has some great views overlooking the sea and marina. The WiFi was great too. We went in the height of the summer with temperatures rising to mid 30s every day so the pool was a very welcome sight. I was originally a little worried about the size of the pool before arriving but it was the perfect size even fitting in a couple of Lilo's as well as a family of 5 and we spent a lot of the day in it. It was cleaned a few times during our stay too which was a great. There's no getting around the fact the villa is on top of a very big hill. All other reviews state this but this wasn't an issue for us as we walked down to the town every day (10 to 15 minutes walk depending on where you go) and for less than €5, we got a taxi back. If it hadn't been so hot, we might have attempted to walk back but for that cost, there really wasn't any need. We had budgeted for that anyway. In the town there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from serving some lovely food and entertainment. The only slight negative is we didn't find any shops close by so popping for some milk or bread wasn't too easy and needed to walk into the town. There might have been one but we just didn't explore enough given the heat of the day. All in all, a great stay and a lovely time had by all.

Lovely holiday

Well equipped villa with a great pool in a quiet location at the top of the resort - quite a steep walk up and down but fine for us. Villa was very clean and Janie responded quickly when we contacted her . Might be worth putting on villa details that there is only air conditioning in two of the three bedrooms . Otherwise a lovely stay - thank you.

Wat een super appartement!

Schitterend gelegen en zeer ruim appartement. Hartelijk ontvangst door de vriendelijke hostess, die ook al de eerste levensmiddelen had klaar gezet, zodat het genieten meteen kon beginnen. Het verwarmde zwembad is heerlijk. Restaurantjes zijn op 10 minuten lopen en de taxi terug omhoog kost bijna niets.

Great location, lovely views

This is a nice apartment in a fantastic location. The views of the cliffs, the sea and La Gomera are wonderful, especially at sunrise and sunset. Yes, it's a bit of a walk down into the town and back (10-15 mins), but equally that means that you don't get all of the noise from the bars and restaurants. There was some noise from the apartment above and next door, but this is to be expected I guess - I didn't see any detached villas in Los Gigantes, it is built up a cliff after all! The pool was lovely once heated (necessary in April). We enjoyed boat trips to see whales and dolphins (can thoroughly recommend WhaleWise Eco Tours), a kayak trip, a great hike along the Camino Real (Canaventura) and a trip up to Teide on the cable car. Communication with Nick and Janie was excellent, they were very quick to respond and act when we needed them.

Family holiday in Los Gigantes

Whether inside or outside, there are wonderful views of Los Gigantes rock formations. Most days we walked into town and would take around 15 minutes. The steep walk gets the heart pumping for sure. The accommodation was spacious and well equipped for family. Perfect outdoor space for soaking up the sunshine and dips in the pool. Great TV, films and internet. Communications with owner and representative was easy and efficient. Comfortable beds. Clean. We had a hire car and location made airport, day trips and supermarket run easy.

Una villa cómoda en una ubicación muy especial

La villa es muy cómoda, ya que, salvo una de las habitaciones, que nosotros nos utilizamos, está todo en una misma planta, sin necesidad de subir y bajar escaleras. La ubicación es excelente, en una zona tranquila y con unas vistas preciosas, aunque sí es verdad que la subida desde el pueblo si uno baja andando puede resultar muy dura, especialmente bajo el sol del día. Sí habría algunos detalles que pueden ser mejorados para considerarla perfecta: - La villa es independiente, pero está anexa a otras y puedes tener vecinos, tanto arriba como en los lados. Creo que habría que ponerlo en la web para que no lleve a sorpresas a gente que quiere intimidad total. - Al ser un entorno muy húmedo, hay algunos cajones y armarios que conservan humedad y, por ellos, sería conveniente vaciarlos por completo regularmente y colocar elementos anti humedad para evitar la aparición de moho. - la barbacoa es muy pequeña para la capacidad de la casa. EN nuestro caso, al ser solo 4 personas suficientes, pero para 8 la vería muy justa. Son solo algunas posibles mejoras, pero tanto la villa como la atención que hemos recibido de Janie y Juan han sido muy satisfactorias y la estancia muy agradable.
