"In my experience traveling twice yearly from the north to Florida and back, this Fairfield hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel and our room both were very clean and fresh feeling. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a lovely walk-in shower, comfortable beds and a large screen TV which we were easily able to hook up to our computer. Breakfast was very good too. We'll be back."

"This is a roach motel masquerading as a hotel. Found a cockroach and a cockroach roach egg. The mattresses were old and lumpy. Not all of the towels were clean. The breakfast was bland and tasteless. Go to a super8 and save a little money the quality will be same, but likely better."

The location was great and also made for the shortest travel time for returning home. The bed was very comfortable. The major negative was that the a/c was off when we arrived and with temperatures in the upper 80s-mid 90s, it took a very long time to cool off. "The on-line check in was pointless as we had to go through the process again at arrival (so don't bother trying to check in early), the stairs were littered with cigarette butts, the AC struggled to keep the temperature at a reasonable level, the shower was mediocre at best and in the morning, the QR code that was posted on the wall that was supposed to be to access the menu les to a broken page.
