"The hosts were extremely communicative and accommodating. When we arrived, the host was there to greet us and give us the tour. They provided snacks, a lovely bottle of wine, coffee, and stocked the fridge with half and half. It was so thoughtful! There were plenty of extra bath towels which we appreciated, and a lot of things for the beach - beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, scooters, a wagon, etc. They also had a lot of fun games and movies for the kids. The washer and dryer worked wonders...

"We enjoyed our stay so much! The California weather while we were there was perfect for the AC unit that was there. The unit is literally steps from the beach and the view from the window is magnificent. The pier was so close and we walked to it daily. The unit was stocked with necessities in case you forgot something important. Would book this unit again! "

"Cannot beat the location! So close to the beach and pier which was fantastic. The house is behind a restaurant which I was not expecting. Our first night, there was a private party that didn’t get started until 10pm but luckily the AC window unit drowned out the noise. The only negative was parking. There are spots in front of the house but it’s first come first serve, so if we were lucky enough to get a spot we didn’t want to move the car and not everything we were doing was walking distance....

"Perfect central location. The staff texted ahead of time to provide nearby parking recommendations, and were friendly and accommodating to our slightly earlier check-in. Also extra love the special design touch of the lobby decor: a mnemonic device sentence with the major downtown street names written in pink neon."

"Fenix Hotel is a modified apartment complex that is now run as a hotel. The concept is cool, modern, and honestly works great! It is very close to walk of fame and Chinese Theater! There are gates with codes all around the property, it is very safe. The rooms are clean, and well stocked with everything you need and more. Several families that were staying in the hotel were very clearly launching there for days at Universal and Disney. Overall, it’s a fun, unique stay in the heart of Hollywood. "

"I stayed here for 7 nights last month with my husband and my teenage son and we loved it. Most of the few “negative” reviews seemed to be written by people who just didn’t like Venice, which isn’t the fault of this lovely hotel. The rooftop is a fantastic feature and you are right in the middle of the fabulous chaos of Venice. Danielle, like many have pointed out, is an angel of a hostess. "

"I absolutely loved this apt and hope it is available the next time we visit LA. it accommodated our entire family, and we felt welcome and at home. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, grocery close enough, and transportation (train). Parking was not convenient in the evenibg, but that is expected in downtown LA and has NOTHING to do with the apt itself, just our poor planning. 5stars"

"The town home was spacious and perfect for our party of 14. Only one parking spot in the courtyard but street parking was not an issue. Very close to Hollywood and easy drive everywhere else."

"The pool in pictures is not the pool at property. There’s a hot tub on the roof. No pool towels. Place was clean and neat. Just promised my kids a pool and there wasn’t one so it was a bust in that sense. Also the fees were outrageous, I am military and don’t make a lot of money and this place was super expensive. "
