"Family that runs it is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable with a view worth it alone! Quiet and the landscaping is beautiful! The restaurant is a must, I run a beef ranch and the ribeye was definitely one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten! Will recommend and will be staying here again!"

"I loved the room, the breakfast, the pool, the grounds (there were wonderful paths leading to nearby goats that you could see on a neighboring property). There was a sauna and a hot tub but neither was on. There was a sign for yoga but I didn't see any yoga session."

"We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. Thanks to Emmanuel, Davis and Arlin, who guided me, scheduled events, they even got me a great ride back to the airport with Henry (at 4:30 AM -- thanks Denis and Davis!) who became my tour guide as we drove in the early morning via the scenic La Virgin pathway.
