Modern Beach Home with Beautiful Deck & Hot Tub

Enjoy the beauty and playfulness of Santa Cruz in this modern beach house (permit 211112) two blocks away from Sunny Cove. Recently renovated, this home includes three bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, two lofts, two full bathrooms, and living room. The indoor setting has a cozy layout with a fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, and a dining space. The outdoor living space is a real delight with a stunning Brazilian hardwood deck complete with a large hot tub, BBQ grill, gas fire pit, and outdoor dining.

The home is a short walk to four gorgeous beaches including Sunny Cove, Mo's, Blacks Beach, and others, Starbucks, and great dining options. Beach chairs and beach toys, boogie boards, etc. provided for ocean fun. Come relax at the ocean and among the redwoods!

The property includes parking for 2-3 vehicles. It also comes with a 75" TV in the living room, washer and dryer, linens and towels, high-speed internet (200 Mbps+) and room for up to 6 adults.

Beautiful Home, Lovely Neighborhood

This small cottage feels big and open, and the owners have done a tremendous job making great use of every square inch. Equipped with everything needed to relax and enjoy the quiet. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we'll be back!

Perfectly set up for lovely weekend

We stayed here for two nights when my son graduated from UCSC. The house is very nice and thoughtfully stocked with every item you might need but not over stocked a la Marie Kondo. The beds were comfy. Quiet place and upgraded well. Wifi good. Great kitchen I want to redo my bathrooms now that I have seen such beautiful ones! Didn't try hot tub but patio set up also very nice.

Cozy and well-appointed in a great location!

This is a great property with nice amenities and a very central, walk-to-beach location. The neighborhood is quiet and it was very relaxing to sit in the backyard and relax and chat on the deck. The teens in our group loved the loft!

Fabulous place!

We chose this property because of the backyard... and it was totally worth it! It's more expensive of a place than we normally choose, but when you consider the time spent in the yard vs in a restaurant or bar, we probably saved money. And we definitely enjoyed the time more. We'll be back for sure.

Love this place!

This house is so nice! Everything you need in it as well! The back deck and hot tub are so welcoming and the fire pit was amazing! Quiet neighborhood yet close to beach and a few restaurants making for a perfect location. Owner very nice as well! I can’t wait to rent this place again!

Well appointed & Welcoming

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is beautifully appointed with a great supply of games, puzzles, and books. Everything you need is on hand. Our hosts communicated effectively and we appreciated the generous welcome basket. The patio and hot tub are delightful. 10/10 recommend.

No issues, would stay again

Hosts were very communicative and sent us highlights of things to do well ahead of our arrival. Property was clean and definutely the most well stocked of all the rentals we've stayed at in terms of things like cleaning supplies, paper towels, toiletries, etc. Hosts checked in on us after arrival to make sure all was well. Kitchen was well stocked with basic utensils, spices, and so forth. There wasn't a vegetetable steamer but we made do. Not sure how many others would need that! Great remodel on a 1940s property that made it very modern and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, no issues, we would absolutely stay again, nd would reccommend.

Wonderful Quick Getaway

Such a lovely little gem in Santa Cruz...can't wait to come back when it's a bit warmer and we can use that fantastic window to the back deck. Hot tub was great and firepit was such a nice feature especially with its size. Hosts were very accomodating! Thanks for a great birthday weekend for our daughter <3

Gorgeous Well Appointed Home!

This home is exactly as pictured! Also, the many reviews are spot on! This is a great find in a fabulous location. The owners have put tremendous attention to detail and has everything you could want in a beach house. The outdoor fire pit was amazing and the hot tub top notch!

Great Stay!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property, which was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beaches, making it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. Our kids especially loved the lofts, which added a fun and cozy touch to our stay. Great place for a family hang :)

My family loved staying here. Living areas spill out into the awesome deck outside, making a great place for some grilling and chilling. Two bedrooms are right next to one bathroom, and the master bedroom and bathroom are on the other side, so everyone gets their privacy at night. We would definitely book it again.

A Cozy and Relaxing Staycation in Santa Cruz
