We had a mixed experience during our stay. On the plus side, the location was excellent, right next to Valley Fair and a lot of great food options. The price was fair given the area, and the backyard was spacious and enjoyable. The management team was very responsive, quickly replacing a broken TV the day after we reported it. The home also had most of what we needed for a week stay.That said, the house itself is quite old and had a lingering smell that never really went away. The guest bathroom toilet had an issue where it flushed every few minutes and made a loud squeaking sound at night, which made it difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, it wasn’t fixed during our stay, and we had to manually turn the water off each night. The floors felt dirty, and there were signs of cheap or rushed maintenance throughout the house. Our bed sheet had a hole, and the mattress cover underneath was stained, one spot even appeared to be a blood stain, which was pretty concerning. The bed itself also wasn’t very comfortable.Overall, we appreciated the location and the responsiveness of the host, but the cleanliness and upkeep of the home definitely need improvement

Perfect family rental in safe and quiet neighborhood

We stayed for a few days prior to thanksgiving to watch the niners game. The house was just what we needed for the stay. The beds are very comfortable and we all slept well!

Cozy and clean

This was one of the best and most comfortable rentals I’ve stayed in. It was a perfect location and quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean and comfortable and was fully stocked with pretty much anything you would need. I will definitely be staying here again my next trip.

Ewwww…DIRTY FILTHY HOME

Dirty, Filthy Home. Only thing going for is it’s location. I’ve stayed in many VRBO’s but this property was the most disgusting home I’ve ever stayed in. Desperately needs a whole house deep clean! Black mold in shower, tub, bath mat. Bathroom flooring gross. Carpeting, flooring needs to be thrown out. Barely functioning original shower fixtures, loose tiles taped up, questionable electrical and plumbing for appliances. Bedding, linens need to be thrown away and replaced. I would not recommend this property. Major renovations need to take place.

Perfect stay in San Jose

We stayed 3 nights for my daughter's graduation at Santa Clara and it was the perfect location and the perfect house. We loved the backyard that is set up for outdoor dining and the inside was comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The house was exactly what we needed!

Family visit

The whole family of 5 came to visit grandparents in the area and stayed at this lovely house. Just as described in the listing. Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen, games, movies, nice outdoor areas in the yard. Perfect location for our visit as well. We would highly recommend.

The owners must have a label maker!

Well organized and accurate to the description and photos. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood, and we were able to let our dog enjoy the backyard and also many walks along the sidewalks leashed in the neighborhood. The labels for outlets/switches/faucets etc were helpful and made us feel right at home. We have family in the area and would definitely stay again in the future.

Great location for visiting Silicon Valley

The house was very clean and the location is great for visiting Silicon Valley. The property manager was responsive when we reported an issue with the toilets blocking and promptly sent a plumber out to the house. Overall we had a good experience staying at this property.

Good Stay

Nice three bedroom home with conmfortable outdoor space. Appreciated having two phone numbers to call as options for communicating with host. Was worried whether the small Weber gas barbeque was going to grill well but it did a great job. Washer, dryer, garage, and two full bathrooms were also nice to have. Grocery store Safeweay is half a mile away and Costco is a couple of miles away. There is quite a bit of lawnmower / leaf blower action in the neighborhood during the daytime but it was quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay.

Convenient for Santa Clara graduation

Very well equipped kitchen and nice deck in the backyard for meals and morning coffee. We couldn’t get the BBQ to work, but other than that it was a great stay for our family to see our son graduate from Santa Clara.

Perfect for our family

This is the second time we've stayed at this lovely property and will now be our Santa Clara based home when we come to visit. Very well equipped, no issues at all and perfect for our family. You can't ask for much better than that. Highly recommend (except the week around January 24th as that's the birthdate we come to celebrate!). Thank you Evolve. Great experience again.
