Plus points for us: Situated in a lovely little town with restaurants, market, shops.An excellent outside terrace.A beautiful view of surrounding countryside.Good wi fi.Comfortable bed.Minus points for us: Kitchen very basic for example no draining board other than a small tray precariously balanced.Although aware the kitchen was across terrace was not aware when booking that the bathroom was too. Very inconvenient at night.Would not describe accommodation “ luxury” as stated in advert.

Herzlich, freundlich und etwas anders

Nach einer herzlichen Begrüssung und einem kleinem Rundgang durch das Loft haben wir uns eingerichtet. V.a. der vollverglaste Schlaf-/Wohnbereich war ein Traum. Aber auch Küche mit Grill und Bad waren einwandfrei.

28 days of Bliss

Had EVERYTHING we needed, wifi reliable, TV adaptable ( able to use Fire-stick to watch UK programs, Jacuzzi enjoyable, bed comfortable, view spectacular, local shops and restaurants on your doorstep, local buses into Las Palmas cheap and regular, done a lot of research before we booked and were not disappointed, Pilar the host give us a giant bunch of bananas, they were best we have had, looking forward to visiting again. Place kept prim, proper and clean by the lovely Lupa, best way to sum up is “this is a bespoke 5 star accommodation in a beautiful peaceful setting, once experienced you will hate to leave.

Great rooftop appartment in a beautiful village

The accommodation is a roof terras with a sleeping room, a kitchen and a bathroom. These are not connected which means you reach them via the open terrace. It is very comfortable and well equipped. The host, Pilar, is very friendly and helpful with tips about the Island. The location in the beautiful little village of Santa Brigida is super. Downstairs is a real nice and good tapas restaurant and around the corner is a pub/restaurant that is open all day and serves basic but well prepared local dishes. The capital and the airport are within a 25 mins drive.

A nice accommodation in the center of the old town

The roof top apartment is situated in the center of a charming old town surrounded by green nature and mountain landscapes. Shops, cafes and bars are only a couple of minutes away. A total opposite to the bustling beaches of the south. The accommodation perfectly matches the description on the website and Pilar was a welcoming hostess.

Wohnung sehr gepflegt. Für uns top-Lage. Pilar ist eine super Gastgeberin.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Da wir im August dort waren, war jedoch die nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage ein ziemlich großes Manko (bei durchschnittlich 30 - 32 Grad). Sonst haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein wirklich nettes Örtchen mit noch netteren Menschen. Gerne wieder.

Fantastic Rooftop Stay

We had a wonderful welcome from Pilar and her husband. We were given wonderful advice on what to see on the Island. We fully recommend the apartment and the hot tub was a joy at the end of the day.

Ausgezeichnet!

Pilar hat uns zur abgesprochenen Zeit in Empfang genommen und wir haben eine wirklich tiptop saubere Ferienwohnung -vielmehr Loft - vorgefunden. Es fehlte an nichts. Es lag frisches Gemüse und Obst bereit. Die Dachterasse mit großem Esstisch, Liegestühlen und Jacuzzi waren die Highlights. Zudem gibt es in der Küche einen Grill. Die Wohnung liegt zentral und ist dennoch total ruhig. Wir konnten das Auto in der Nähe parken. Pilar hat uns eine Tour über die familieneigene Bananenplantage angeboten, die uns einen guten Einblick in die regionale Landwirtschaft gegeben hat. Zudem war sie als Gastgeberin jederzeit kontaktierbar und hat uns einige gute Tipps gegeben. Santa Brigida bietet Kultur, einen schönen Markt, der Fr -So vorwiegend regionale Produkte verkauft, nahgelegene Wandermöglichkeiten, einen kleinen botanischen Garten mit integriertem Tierpark. Zudem gibt es viele kleine Geschäfte und nette Cafes und Restaurants, wir zB die benachbarte Tapas-Bar. Eine direkte Busverbindung nach Las Palmas gibts in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Appartement. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Great place to stay

The rooftop accommodation is situated in the old part of Santa Brigida with great views to the islands mountains. The accommodation is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen for self catering. If you prefer, there are numerous cafes and restaurants in the town including a very friendly tapas bar next door. The accommodation is well situated for Las Palmas, the airport and the fishing villages in the south of the island are only 45 minutes by car. The accommodation was a quarter of the price of the accommodation in the south and was first class- the jacuzzi was a big plus. The owners are really friendly and provided us with a superb itinerary in order to see the best of the island, which we did. The island is a place of amazing contrasts with lush green flora in the north, high level pine forests in the mountains and desert comditions in the south. The people are friendly and it was great to stay away from the tourist areas and see more of the island culture in Santa Brigida. We would definitely recommend this accommodation for those with a sense of adventure and the desire to get away from it all.

Lovely clean and inviting lives up to its name Luxury Loft.

Stayed for a week and the property had everything that was needed and beyond, loved the electric juicer. Hosts were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and events that were taking place. A lovely touch was the welcoming pack and basket of home grown oranges and papaya etc. would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Genuß pur in liebevoll gestalteter FeWo, tolle Dachterrasse mit wunderbarem Blick, nette Gastgeber

Wir haben eine herrliche Woche im Luxus-Loft in Santa Brígida verbracht. Die Gastgeber sind total herzlich, ohne sich irgendwie aufzudrängen. Für alles, was man sich wünscht, ist gesorgt - bis hin zu Bademänteln, in die man sich z.B. nach einem Bad im Jacuzzi hüllen kann...Alles in der Wohnung und auf der Terrasse ist picobello sauber und wie neu. Wir haben vor allem den wunderbaren Blick von der Dachterrasse ins Hinterland oft genossen und stundenlang im Liegestuhl gelegen. Schatten gibt es auch ausreichend (große Markise), und man kann von Santa Brígida aus Ausflüge nach Las Palmas, in die Berge oder ans Meer machen. Vom Haus aus kann man eine Runde durch einen wunderschönen Barranco wandern, mit dem Auto ist man schnell im sehr schönen Botanischen Garten oder am Vulkankrater Bandama. Die Gastgeber haben uns auch dazu hervorragend versorgt, inkl. google maps-Karte und Anfahrtsbeschreibung aufs Handy! Alle Ausflugsziele sind nicht weit entfernt, wie übrigens auch ein kostenfreier Parkplatz, den man nach fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Nach Las Palmas fährt mind. stündlich ein Bus, die Haltestelle ist ebenfalls nur fünf Minuten vom Haus entfernt. Durchaus eine Überlegung wert, den Bus zu nehmen, denn die Parkgebühren in Las Palmas sind hoch und Knöllchen für zu langes Parken sehr teuer. Wer nicht kochen mag, geht einfach tagsüber oder abends in die kleine Bar "El Despacho" im Nachbarhaus, die hervorragende Tapas zu günstigen Preisen anbietet. Die Gastgeber begrüßten uns u.a. mit selbstgemachten Keksen und Orangen von ihrer Finca. Die Finca (vor allem Bananenanbau) in der Nähe von Arucas durften wir besichtigen, sehr interessant! Auch wunderschön mit Meerblick und Dachterrasse, sie wird ebenfalls vermietet (bis zu 7 Personen, behindertengerecht inkl. Sitz-Lift in den Pool). Alles sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen wieder!
