Graduation trip!!

Beautiful property…… charming and comfortable. So close to all the fun stuff… walkable distance to stores, dining and play. Kids were stoked! Super nice to have all the accessories for the beach there at property. Great outdoor dining area.Water pressure in the showers could’ve been a bit better…. but I have VER thick hair!!!! Overall…seriously-we had a blast. I would definitely stay there again!!! Ps.. all of the flowers in the area were just gorgeous!!

Beautiful older home, some quirks

We had a lovely stay at the home. The location is great - an easy walk to the beach or to shops/restaurants. The home is really beautiful but does have some quirks - to be expected perhaps with an older home. There is very poor water pressure in the upstairs bathroom, so everyone ended up showering in the first floor bathroom. The upstairs bed was quite firm. The wooden stairs are beautiful but very slippery. Our stay included not one, but two, slips down the stairs - one in socks and one barefooted. Please be careful!

Walk to the beach, wharf, restaurants, bars and the train station.

Very nice house in a nice neighbourhood. We drove to Trader Joes but otherwise walked everywhere including to a great hispanic supermarket - Santa Cruz. The kitchen has everything you need to make the most of the local produce -- and if you don't feel like it there is a huge array of places to eat and drink out. No fuss check-in / check out. This is what VRBO is all about.

Darling West Beach Villa

We loved our time spent in Santa Barbara and were very pleased with our decision to stay at the West Beach Villa. We loved the location and found the historic Villa to be darling and exactly as described. The 2 bedrooms were perfect for our family of five (my husband and I and 3 young adult children). We had the three kids in the master suite with the additional pull out sectional couch/bed that was in addition to the king bed. The second bedroom was like an additional master bedroom with the king bed and closet and separate bathroom just outside the room. The living room set up was great with the two large couches and additional seating for the few times we were at the property and watched the Olympics. The dining room table seated six and was perfect for us and the bonus was the outdoor area with an outdoor eating table and a separate area for seating with a grill. We always love to sit outside for morning coffee and/or evening wine and usually try one night to grill out. The location was perfect and were able to easily walk to the Fun zone/State Street and West beach. Our favorite beaches were Butterfly Beach and Carpenteria but was thrilled that the property provided all the beach gear that we needed without having to go buy extra items and was able to walk and pull the wagon of beach gear to West Beach on the one day that the boys were golfing and us girls didn't have our car available to us. Beds were comfortable and we highly recommend the West Beach Villa!

A Comfortable Place to Stay

This condo was clean, easy to enter, great location, bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are well stocked. Living room was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Will stay again!

Nice getaway

Very comfortable, neat and clean. Appliances are ancient but seem to work ok. Didn’t try washer dryer. Microwave should be changed as it’s tiny! Dryer is rusting on the outside but didn’t matter as we didn’t use it.

Long weekend in Santa Barbara

We really enjoyed our stay. This home is beautiful with all the amenities you need. The location to town was perfect. A short walk to the beach, pier, and State st. I would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful property, great location

We had a wonderful stay at West Beach Villa 4. It was perfect for my husband and our adult son. We could walk everywhere -- the beach and the area with all sorts of great restaurants. The unit was very clean and well equipped. We felt very much comfortable and at home there. We loved the orange trees in the backyard too! Would stay there again.

Perfect location and wonderful place!

Clean and well kept house with character and charm. House is close to 100 years old so expect what comes with that. That said everything was functional. Back yard can use a clean up and refresher of outdoor seating and outdoor table and cushions. Location is excellent and safe

Meeting up with my sister in Santa Barbara

My architect husband and I loved the art deco style of this spacious, clean condo. Set in a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous old trees, we could walk to the beach, cook together on the old Wedgewood stove, and lounge outside. It was the perfect place to meet up with my sister and enjoy some time together.

Santa Barbara Classic

Fantastic historic era home perfectly kept up, maintained and furnished. Minutes to beach, McConnells Ice Cream and 6-7 minutes to State Street Marina and it’s attractions are also a short walk away Even the instructions for access are personalized. Wi-Fi and cable TV were easy to figure out. Fantastic!

Classic 1937 CA Home

This home and back courtyard made for a really pleasant stay. The gardens, big windows bringing in lots of sunlight, and the private yard with orange and lemon trees to enjoy were a big bonus. A very walkable neighborhood and near both the waterfront and Funk Zone. Dart Coffee and Blue Door Antiques were favorites and very nearby. We could hear the trains as the tracks are just a couple blocks away and the highway noise as well when outside but inside the house was very quiet. House was well stocked and beds were very comfortable.

Nice property and location- upstairs shower and old fashioned gas stove could both use a touch up/inspection. Would also appreciate more clear instructions on where to park (lots of info on where not to park but we weren’t sure where to actually go). Overall nice and would stay again.

Great accommodations and location

The villa was as described. Very attractive inside and out and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. Nice patio out back looking over the back yard with multiple orange and lemon trees. Great location within easy walking distance to State Street, Funk Zone and beach/Stearns Wharf. Excellent communication by management company. We were very pleased and would book again.

Silver Lining…

We were supposed to meet dear friends in SB for a 4-day reunion; alas, COVID struck and they were unable to join us. So, our LA family packed bags and joined us unexpectedly at the last minute and turned our frowns upside down. This adorable VRBO in SB is the ideal getaway. I could move in tomorrow! Just delightful in every way. I hate to gush as I don’t want the word to get out about this neighborhood gem.
