Welcome to Mesa Gardens! This private enclosed home on a quiet cul-de-sac is nestled in one of Santa Barbara’s most famous areas, “The Mesa”. Walk to the local surf spot, Mesa Lane. Enjoy one of The Mesa favorite restaurants or grab a quick bite at the best health food stores, Lazy Acres, on your way to the sunset at Shoreline Park.

Meander down the garden path over the rock bridge and delight in the running brook, filled with koi and goldfish. Relax on one of 3 patios and enjoy a smores by the firepit or dip into the mood light jacuzzi!

This single level home has an open floor plan with high beam ceilings that gives the indoor outdoor feel. Create an incredible meal in this fully stocked chef’s kitchen offering gorgeous countertops, prism lighting, brand new Bosch appliances, wood floors throughout, and a 6 burner Wolf stove. This kitchen opens to the cozy living room with a huge 70 inch flat screen TV which includes Direct TV, Netflix, Hulu, and HBO. Sonos sound system throughout the home. French doors lead to a patio with a gas burning firepit and patio seating, perfect for entertaining!
The spacious master bedroom features a Beautyrest black king bed, a large dresser, and a 4o inch flat screen TV, with a firestick to cuddle up and watch all your favorite shows. Light filled windows and French doors spill out on to a lovely patio with a dining table for six and plenty of patio seating.
The second bedroom has a queen bed, California closet with ample storage and French doors out to the hot tub and sanctuary patio.
The bathroom has dual sinks and a walk in shower with a door to the side yard and access to the washer and dryer for convenience.
Delight in every part of this outdoor space that is cultivated and designed by one of the “Best of” landscapers in Santa Barbara. Abundant fruit trees and edible vines make this one of the most relaxing spaces the Mesa has to offer.
IMPORTANT: This home is very private. Please note that there is another renter who lives in the other house with 2 little dogs and 2 cats. These properties are separated by a large fence for maximum privacy.
Location: Prime Santa Barbara location on the Mesa. Walk to the beach. Three miles to downtown Santa Barbara’s famous State Street lined with boutiques, shopping, restaurants, museums, nightclubs, and more.

The gate swings back, and all of a sudden you hear birds, tree frogs, and soft breezes! And that is your introduction to Mesa Gardens!! A disco ball catches the sunlight, drawing your attention to the chalkboard welcoming you to your very own garden of essential fruit and beauty. Each morning my husband picked delectable fruit from the trees to enhance our breakfast. It was like being Adam in the veritable garden of eden, only this was Mesa Gardens, an easy walk from the town center, restaurants, salons, and cute shops. Daily bike rides along Shoreline Drive are a true delight and the bike trail down to Butterfly Beach will bring you by some of Santa Barbara's finest homes, down to the beach that appears carved out in time. The Biltmore Hotel is still under construction but the ride is easily doable from your vacation rental at Mesa Gardens! The location is amazing! The setting is like a delicate jewel, presented proudly to you, and the multiple patios, glass doors, and entertainment areas draw you in as you begin to feel the tension and noise from city life slowly depart from your body and mind. You are welcomed with genuine joy and hospitality by the owner, Ashley, well known entrepreneur and longtime Santa Barbara resident. Mornings will find you refreshed and evenings are perfection with skies full of mesmerizing stars and the dazzling flames emanating from the fire pit. Looking for Nirvana? You have arrived...
Modern kitchen with extremely cool windows! We brought our own outdoor chandeliers to add to the ambience, and as we packed them to return home, the memories of Mesa Gardens will wink at us from our blue LED chandeliers...
A long day ends with relaxing hot tub and views of the koi pond...
And tasty fruit and a riot of flowers complete the landscape...
Soapstone counters, uniquely carved lighting fixtures, and cheery sunlight set the stage...
