Perfectly clean and maintained property. Quiet location only a short walk to the beach. Beautiful landscaping made for a very relaxing location.

We had the best time here. The location is unbeatable, close to everything, yet somehow still feels super private and peaceful. The house itself was full of charm, the weather was perfect, and the fully fenced yard made it so easy and stress-free with our dog and kids. Those little details matter, and this place delivered. We’d absolutely stay here again. Total 10/10 experience!

Adorable house. Beautiful yard. Great walking to three beaches and if low tide, one could walk to the pier. Peaceful. Wonderful retreat from life.

The house was absolutely incredible! It was a magnificent oasis that perfectly combined the beauty of nature with coastal beach living. Everything was clearly communicated, from the instructions to the labels throughout the home. The property was spotless, well organized, and incredibly welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed spending my birthday in this amazing home, and it made the celebration truly special.

The neighborhood is quiet, pretty, safe and close to a beautiful resort with clean and secluded beaches. The home is historic and quaint and the garden is like being in a ‘secret garden.’ We loved the location and the historic value of the house. The only recommendations to the owner would be to remove all the indoor silk plants as this smell and are not necessary with all the natural gorgeous foliage around you that is visible from all windows. It would also be helpful to have additional towel hooks in the bathroom and additional make up washcloths. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Wonderful location!

We truly enjoyed our stay and the location was just perfect and close to everything. The house is very pretty, comfortable and quiet and the walk on the beach each morning was wonderful!

So lovely. Yard was beautiful. Right next to a gorgeous resort and beautiful trail to the beach. Short walk to the beach if you don’t want to take a trail. Close to downtown Santa Barbara and Montecito. Would definitely stay again. Wonderful spot!

Peaceful Getawayy

It was a little hidden gem and great place to getaway and relax. I could hear the waves in the distance, walk to the beach and walk to Montecito for my morning coffee and breakfast. Would stay again. Very cute cottage.

A gathering of friends

We absolutely enjoyed our time at Hammonds Beach! Perfect location, and access to local beach was close. We loved the charm of the cottage and the fond memories it evoked from bygone days long ago. We look forward to returning one day.

First, this is just as advertised—beautiful place. A couple of things that aren’t really mentioned in the description are that the property is so private. Once you get in through the front gate, you really don’t see much at all of neighbors and it has a very private vibe. The beach really is just at the end of the block. Great beach—not super crowded, but popular and beautiful. The neighborhood is also just beautiful and friendly.

Cottage was adorable and well stocked. Host thought of everything. It was very clean and perfect when we got there. It is decorated so well and the beds are very comfortable. We felt like we were in a secluded tropical getaway. There are frogs that croak at night that give you ax exotic feel. We didn’t hear the traffic noise for the highway near the cottage. We walked into Montecito and walked on the beach. Beach is very close. Shops are a few blocks. We would definitely stay here again and we are really picky about our accommodations. Great communications from the host. All in all an awesome experience.

serene little spot

We took my parents on a little mini get away. My father grew up in SB so it was nostalgic. The house was clean, everything worked, it was comfortable and as shown in the photos. Serene and private neighborhood just a short walk from the beach. We would absolutely visit this spot again.

Perfect Home Base for Our Trip

We came to SB for a club sport our son plays, so we need to be near the polo grounds. This home was just minutes away and also close to downtown SB. We were able to fit in a couple of beach walks just a block or two from the house, and a dinner at Brophy Bros. Wish we could have stayed longer! The home itself is comfortable and clean. Great location!

Montecito haven

Lovely private small home with open sunroom and great ambient lighting throughout. Pleasant walk to beach and Rosewood area. Only drawback is sound of traffic on nearby freeway, not visible from property and good compensatory strategies in home.

Nice Locale

The property was very nice and clean. We had some issues with the property manager who happened to be the owner. I was disappointed that there wasn't any type of a plastic wrap or foil in the kitchen.
