"This place was great with an awesome view of the Allegheny River. Clean, cute and porch kitties. "

"We had a great weekend at the River Valley Retreat in Franklin! The house was immaculate and well stocked, to include kayaks and bikes we could use. Amazing water pressure and great shower. The beds were very comfortable and the AC units kept the house comfortable, even on the 90 degree days. Lots of local places to eat in or have meals delivered. View of the river from the front porch with plenty of seating. We had everything we needed for a fun weekend away! Check in and check out were easy....

"My brother and I were very impressed with the serenity and peacefulness of The farmhouse we loved every minute of it we heard the stream running the storm was even beautiful I our dog was very normal he enjoyed everything of his day there as well I go back again and again the host was great the wife cooked us some great bread thanks Lynn we really appreciate it and Greg was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and gave us nice stories and tidbits about The farmhouse thank you so much...

"Everything about this weekend was perfect! We ordered food from their meat market and it was waiting for us upon arrival. The accommodations were perfect along with the country setting and farm animals! It’s an animal lovers paradise! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our quick visit to this beautiful cabin. We loved how close it was to Foxburg! The lake this cabin on is so peaceful and It is in a quiet neighborhood. There is a Nice front porch and the cabin is so cozy. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and so accessible and accommodating. Our son (who is almost two) loved the loft (We took a gate for the top of the steps). We hope to make it back someday. Thank you!! "

"Booked for just me to unwind and do some creative work. Perfect for that, or a couple/small family to get away. Clean, quiet, and all the comforts of home."

"The place was beautiful, clean and peaceful. My only suggestions would be to upgrade at least one bed to a queen for larger people. My stepdad is 6' "3" and had a bit of a hard time fitting in the bed. And some larger furniture in the sitting room. It really was a great place though and I will recommend it and may stay again myself if we go back to the area."

"Great place to stay! We came to visit family and always struggled to find a pet friendly hotel. This place fit everything we needed, the area in the back for the dogs was great. Close to the river. There is no cell service down there though, but the wifi worked well enough! Couple spiders came into the bathroom so be prepared for that that. Check in instructions were clear, and easy. Will probably stay here again next time we visit!"

"This property allowed our large family group to all stay together with a wide variety or bedrooms and bathrooms. The property was clean and charming in a perfect location. It allowed us a short walk to a variety of restaurants each night. It was perfect for our group. The owner was very responsive and checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. This is the place to stay in Franklin...do not miss out."

"A great weekend and pet friendly. The cabin is newly refurbished and is very clean, comfortable, and modern, with no musty cabin smell! Great communication with the property owner. We used the bar-b-que and fire pit and made for a nice relaxing evening around the fire. Easy river access for kayaking or fishing."

"Beautiful historical house. Very clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are large and have tv’s. Walking distance to the river and restaurants. The owner was very responsive. "
