"Everything was amazing! beautiful room, great views, easy hotel shuttle to and from the train station, breakfast included, accessible to the highlights we wanted to see. If it is not cloudy, the photos on the hotel's website of the matterhorn are real! The spa was a nice touch. We probably spent more time there than hiking in the mountains. Onsite restaurant and bar are a little expensive... but so is everywhere else in Zermatt. The hotel is off of the RED city bus line. Google Maps didn't...

"My son and I had an amazing 19 days at the hotel and every day was perfect. The staff took such good care of us. They were all very friendly and helpful and fun. The room was exceptional. We plan for another 19 day stay next year and for 12 days of that time we are bringing my son's 4 adult daughters, my granddaughters for a wonderful experience to share at the Focus Matterhorn Hotel. "The hotel is about 10' walk from the train station. The hotel picked us up at the front of the train station. Our room is big and faces the Matterhorn, allowing us to view the Red Mountain in the early morning from our deck and window. One thing you should know is that the "first floor" is about 30 stairs above the ground level and you have to walk up and down. But the hotel staff will help to carry your luggage up to your room and take it down when you leave. We enjoy our time in this hotel. "

"This hotel went beyond my expectations!! The "sky room" had the best view of the matterhorn with a balcony to enjoy it. The breakfast was wonderful with buffet And made to order options. The staff was friendly, professional, courteous and went above and beyond in helping. I cannot say enough positives about this say. I highly recommend the Hotel Bellerive. 5 stars plus!!"

"We stated at Hotel Julen for 2 days May 7 & 8th to go up the Matterhorn. Our room was very nice and very clean, staff were very friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast had everything anyone could desire. We had supper at one of the restaurants ( Schaferstube) in the hotel on our 2nd night. For those looking for a traditional Swiss atmosphere and food we would highly recommend it. We had the beef fondue which was excellent. Location is excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel."

"Travelling from the US with 10 year old daughter for skiing in late december. The Matterhorn view was incredible. Friendly and helpful staff. They helped pick the right lifts and runs based on skill level. Very convenient ski room for gear. Very good breakfast with lots of options. The pool was nice as well. Between the two main lifts. Overall 10/10, but i wish they would take amex. We took a taxi to the lifts because the walk is maybe 7 minutes in boots and we aren't used to that yet,...
