"Host is incredibly friendly and accessible via WhatsApp. Stayed in the private apartment and was in love with the patio which faces the mountains and sunset. Space is modern. clean, and super cozy. Also stocked with some great coffee and South American wines. "

"Private cottage with bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. Great porch with jungle view. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds with walking trails, lots of birds and wildlife. Large fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, coffee maker(no coffee)/kettle and all the cookware/dishes needed to eat in. Paper towel, dish soap and sponge/cloths provided. Locked gated entrance with access code at night. Quick drive to town and attractions. Great spot for a couple of nights or an extended stay. "

"If you want a quiet, isolated camping type experience, this is the spot! Roof over your head, cold AC, washroom and outdoor tub with an unbeatable view of Arenal. Expect bugs if you leave the window or door open too long - that end up dead on the floor in the morning. Communication: Dahana was fabulous, spoke English and quick to respond with any issues.Location: 45 mins from La Fortuna - 30 of it is very rough terrain - 7km of rock / dirt that absolutely needs a vehicle with high clearance. "If you are interested in a rustic experience in a beautiful, family owned quaint hotel on a private farm, this is the place to stay in MonteVerde. The Family runs the hotel and they were the nicest people ever. Very accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area in terms of activities as well as places to eat if you're interested in local cuisine, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visit MonteVerde for a true, local experience. My entire family had an incredible experience here."
