"We loved the remoteness of it, and the friendliness of the lady who served us dinner and breakfast. This is not like a stay in the more touristy parts of Costa Rica like La Fortuna or Monteverde. This is off the beaten path. Its not as close to the Rincon de la Vieja park as we originally thought (1h30 drive time on poor quality roads, in theory there was a straighter distance road but we didn't trust our rental AWD Rav4 would be able to get there)."

"Excelente lugar! Es un lugar familiar con un trato muy cercano y amable. La cabina muy bonita y cómoda, con una pequeña cocina. Da la sensación que estás dentro de la selva, ya que tienen un jardín muy bonito. Desayuno muy completo con café, fruta cortada, tostadas, huevos, plátano frito. Hecho al momento. "I can't imagine a better-equipped cabin! There's a full kitchen and dining area, a giant bathroom with great hot water, and two beds with their own TVs (it's like a having your own two-bedroom apartment!) The owner, Heylin, was extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived. The internet was super fast. We saw monkeys in the trees behind the A-frame as we sat out on the balcony and we also enjoyed a lovely thunderstorm. This is an amazing gem in the area. Definitely worth the stay if you're in...

"Belle propriété avec bungalows tout neufs et très mignons. On a même vu un paresseux dans un arbre. Juste à côté de frog's paradise donc parfait pour la visite de nuit, on peut y aller à pied. Repas et petits déjeuners très bons. Les propriétaires sont charmants et toujours prêts à rendre service."
