"This property is peaceful, comfortable and nostalgic. The gem is the screened patio with gorgeous views of historic oaks! We appreciated the well stocked coffee and snack bar - very nice touch. We were a party of 4 adults visiting for a wedding and we were very comfortable. Thank you to our hostess"

"My best friend, my sons, and my nephew gathered at Riverside Country Retreat for the weekend. The house was perfect: great bbq grill, fire pit and three cozy bedrooms! We Sat out by the fire and walked the trail to the river. Our rooms were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. This is a great place in close proximity to Brazos Bend State Park where we geocached and hiked. We watched lightening bugs play and spotted raccoons and armadillos in the beautiful woods behind the...

"Half of the amenities that made it any different from a hotel or a rental that’s 60 cheaper isn’t there. It was a flat out lie. There was no “kitchenette”, walls with weird stains on them, strange smelling bath towels, no shower curtain, and an AC that wouldn't adjust. The site claimed there was a communal pool in the amenities but when we get there and see the pool, it was dirty and unavailable to swim in which was the main reason we booked in the first place. Bookings like this remind me that...

"The listing is filled with misinformation. When we checked in the so called kitchen floor was wet The property does not have 5 bedrooms, the property does not have a full kitchen, there is no stove, there is no game room just a broken air hockey game and the main bedroom had no foundation on the king size bed. The bathroom has a timer on the lights and when you close the shower curtain the lights go off without notice, the host pretends to be 2 different people when communicating with you. He...
