The Bam Bam Suite Above Bedrock Tavern

Help us break in the newly finished BAM BAM Suite above the newly remodeled Bedrock Tavern. This 3 Bedroom Suite sleeps up to 12 people with 3 bedrooms and two baths, Huge Entertainment room with Bar, Kitchen, Dining Room table Entertainment Couch, Laundry Room and 70 inch TV. The BAM BAM suite is located above the Bedrock at 3005 Bardshar Road, Sandusky, OH 44870. We are only 8.4 miles from Cedar Point, 8.6 miles from Kalahari Resort, 8.7 miles from Sports force Park, 5.4 miles from the Barrel House and the Jet Express in Downtown Sandusky, 17 miles to the Kellys Island Ferry, 16 miles to the Put in Bay Miller Ferry, 15 miles to Port Clinton and the Jet Express Port Clinton, 11 miles to the African Safari Wildlife Park, 12 miles from Huron Ohio. Basically 10-20 minutes to the best of the Shores and Islands Ohio has to offer. The Condo is all brand new and fully equipped for your fun. The bar below is open till 12 am features a pool table and game room, multiple Tv's in the bar, great burgers and a friendly staff. Join us at the BAM BAM SUITE!!!. There is 5 queens and a twin bunk.

Very nice and comfortable for our entire group. Tv and wifi didnt work and late karoake at the bar downstairs were unwelcome kinks but overall a great place to stay.

Spacious stay, close to Sandusky

We were a group of 3 moms and daughters in Sandusky for a dance competition at one of the big resorts. The 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms with multiple beds were wonderful. The huge living room and kitchen allowed us to spread out. About a 10-15 min drive from the main drag in Sandusky, but across from a cow pasture. :) Yes, it's above a bar, but still pretty quiet. You could hear some live music and voices in the bedrooms until the bar closed at midnight, but it wasn't enough that I think it'd keep you up - pretty muffled. A/C in living room and 2 bedrooms (units were pretty old and loud), but front bedroom had no a/c. We got a box fan from Meijer and set it in the open doorway and it pulled a bit of a/c from the living room. Bathrooms were clean and newer, but a few cleaning misses like grimey baseboards, food stains on kitchen cabs, garbage pullout needs a major wipedown, but nothing that had me grossed out or worried. We'd stay again!

Great place for you and your family/friends

My group of 9 had a wonderful experience in the Bam Bam Suites for my best friend's bachelor party trip to Cedar Point. The space was large, clean, quite, and comfortable. There is plenty of space to socialize as well as a great kitchen space. The only downside was a couple of inaccurate photos on the listing from the other unit at the building (the Pebble Suite) being thrown in with this unit. But everything worked out great and I would love to visit again someday if life leads me to Sandusky.

Great Place

The suite was larger than we thought from the pictures. Arianna from the office was great prior to check-in, assisting us. Peggy and the staff at Tavern was great, and the place was really clean. It was 20 minutes from Cedar Point and 20 minutes from the Miller Ferry that takes you to Put-in-Bay. Great stay.

WOULD NOT BOOK AGAIN

Upon arrival, our "suite" had been given to another guest?? And management had to go and remove them from our reserved lodging to then hand it over to us, very unprofessional! We reserved this specific lodging and others were occupying it, also due to the small print you have added in your details we were unaware this was above a bar. That should be printed in bigger bold letters prior and not tricking guests into booking this and hearing loud music above you. We were there for a work trip and would never booked again.

This was an awesome place to stay! Clean, easy to get to, comfortable and perfect for our family gathering. Perfect place to view the eclpse. Had a small issue with the door code that was attended to by management very quickly. We would be very happy staying there again!

End of summer trip

Had trouble getting into our suite but the lady came up right after a call and let us in coulda have been swept up a bit better but not terrible towels were wet and smelled damp we just threw them in the washer the dryer took 3 times to dry a load tho but overall minus the minor things we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Large and private

My group all enjoyed the accommodations. Everything with booking and check-in was pretty simple. Nobody bothered us, and we were able to have our party without disturbing anyone. Plenty of parking. The ac unit in the living room was strong and kept us nice and cool. Everyone left saying they had really enjoyed themselves. Their pots and pans were really great to cook with and saved us a lot of money in the long run by avoiding restaurant costs. If youre looking for a nice, out of the way place to host a small gathering, this is a great place to go.
