Great stop to get our flight out of Auckland the following morning.

Great stop after overseas travel. Stylish and funky. Great staff, very friendly. Parking was easy with not far to walk. Room was clean. Funky interior. Lighting was dim, wouldve liked a bit more light to get ready. Bed was a bit hard but bedding was nice. Hot water wasn't hot enough to enjoy a hot bath. Buffet breakfast was divine! So many options! Would stay again just for that! Highly recommend.

We booked the hotel because it advertised a buffet breakfast, and the photos online looked fantastic. However, when we arrived for breakfast, there was no buffet available and we were told to order from the menu instead. (We had paid for the buffet at booking - as it was advertised) I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon, but it arrived with bacon instead. My wife ordered toast with bacon, but her meal arrived without any bacon. The staff took both meals back to the kitchen and appeared to simply remove the bacon from my dish and place it on hers—we could tell because it still had hollandaise sauce on it. To make matters worse, both meals were served cold. The hotel presents itself as a high-end property, but the reality was very different from what was advertised. The bathroom was made entirely of plastic with a faux marble finish, and the ceiling consisted of office-style ceiling tiles, which made the room feel cheap rather than luxurious. The blinds also let in a significant amount of light and offered very little privacy, as it was still possible to see in and out. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and did not live up to the expectations set by the hotel’s advertising.

We never stay anywhere else when we visit Auckland. Can't recommend highly enough!
