We loved the playhouse so much the first time we stayed that we had to come back! We spent the weekend here for our 2nd anniversary and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The views are amazing, the cabin itself is so unique and beautifully crafted, and the hot tub is a nice touch. Dan and Carol Ann are wonderful hosts and really do think of everything down to the tiny details. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed at The Playhouse for our 12th Anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty and whimsy of the cabin and the surrounding property. From sitting out at dusk in the hot tub, to wandering the meandering paths throughout the area, we were enchanted by the peaceful and cozy atmosphere. Dan and Carol Ann were fabulous hosts who made us feel welcomed and special. We would definitely recommend staying here if you want that same little cozy slice of heaven that we experienced.

This cabin is the absolute perfect getaway for a couple! It was so cozy and had everything that we needed to be comfortable. It was very clean and the communication with the host was great. They even invited us to watch their fireworks since it was New Years. The views are stunning and the hot tub was fantastic. We loved the loft bedroom. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, we highly recommend staying here.

Amazing hosts

Can't praise our hosts enough, they were eager to accommodate any need to make our stay perfect. The cabin is cute and immaculate and has everything in a compact size. Our kids loved it too even though they had to share the futon it was huge for them. Will keep them in mind for future trips to Sandpoint and recommend to anyone and everyone. Thanks for being such magnificent hosts, and two of the friendliest people I've ever met!

Such a cute, very nice, new and clean little cabin with a beautiful view and wonderful place to hang out and relax by the fire and in the hot tub. We hope to make it back again one day!

Perfect get away!

Perfect ski weekend getaway. This cabin exceeded our expectations with its immaculate cleanliness and stunning mountain views. The modern-rustic decor and attention to detail throughout made the space feel both luxurious and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and the hot tub was pristine - perfect after a day on the slopes. The hosts are wonderful - they made us feel genuinely welcome. Would definitely book again!

A Perfect Christmas Getaway! We stayed at this Idaho cabin over Christmas, and it truly made our holiday unforgettable. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and beautifully prepared for a winter stay. It felt even better than the photos, warm, peaceful, and surrounded by the kind of quiet beauty you hope for during the holidays. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was their grandson, who was fantastic with our kids (ages 8–13). He added so much joy to the trip and helped make the experience even more special for them.Everything about this cabin exceeded our expectations, from the well‑stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout. Communication was smooth, check‑in was easy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend Christmas. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the perfect Idaho escape.
