Always go on the #adventure 🌈 When we set out for this hike it was pouring rain and less than 2 hours until sunset. There was at least a 50-50 chance that we would end our hike cold, wet, and in the dark. I guess we got lucky 😉✨

La Luz trail is a challenging 10 mile hike. It starts at the base of the Sandia Mountains on the west side and finishes at the top of cedar crest. The altitude change is about 6,000 feet. It's also a beautiful time to see the Aspen trees change.
