"Amazing value for one night’s stay. I checked in late and the concierge was professional and patient. He kindly offered to pack a breakfast for me, as the complimentary shuttle bus pick up was at 5am and breakfast is served at 6am. That thoughtful gesture meant everything. The room was spacious and clean. Best sleep I had on my 10 day trip. Felt refreshed and ready for my 5 hour flight home. Thank you for the hospitality."

"My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay."

"Small room but clean and had everything you need! This was our 5th and final Hotel of our stay in CR and the only hotel with conditioner and a bidet. Towels were the softest as well and the pillows were perfect. Staff was gracious and very helpful. Mini bar type fridge in lobby with gluten free and alcohol options. Being near the airport there was some noise but minimal and the pools little waterfall helped mitigate that. Overall, great place near the airport, and 5 minites from Jumbo car...

"Very clean and spacious rooms. The hotel is beautiful and great bar staff! If you come here to work, they have several floors of work space. Stayed one night before our flight home. The location is minutes from airport plus theres a market next doors, along with several food options you can walk to without stepping outside the business area. Very comfortable beds and amenities. Would absolutely stay again when visiting San Jose, CR. "
