"Jorge and family are very gracious hosts. I booked this place partly because I wanted to support family run business. As expected: the lodges are rather rustic: good plumbing - meaning toilet flushed fine, and shower runs, albeit I couldn't figure out how to get hot water out. The knowledge that Jorge and Herman transferred to me made the stay enjoyable: on toucons, on fungi, on bees."

"Very nice property with stunning flora and fauna. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast - fresh fruits, eggs, housemade toast and jam, rice and beans as well as a fresh coconut - was delicious, especially the coffee. I only stayed one night and had to leave early in the morning, wish I had more time here but plan to be back next time. "

"My wife and I stayed for a week and it was an incredible stay. We enjoyed every minute. Our hostess was everything you could ask for. "This was our last stop on the trip! A great way to end our stay in Costa Rica and 25 minutes from the airport. We did the coffee tour, a fun way learn more about coffee and grow your appreciation for each cup. Afterwards you’ll have coffee and a cookie made from the cherries of the coffee tree. The room was adorable, and they made it extra special for my birthday by decorating. 😊 We spent the evening at the hotel bar with Sebastian making delicious drinks! "

"I stayed here for a night during my Costa Rica trip. The eco lodge is eco-friendly, the staff was really nice. The peark of staying at the Tirimbina lodge is that you do not have to pay an extra fee for the hikes through the reserve. The place is nice and clean, you are surrounded by nature and that is why I went there. I did the night guided tour and it was thrilling to cross the bridge at night. If you go there, that is a must ! "
