Hotels a San Isidro, Ollantaytambo

"We showed up late and had some trouble checking in as the staff was very tired and tried to group us in another room with another tourist. We technically never checked in or out. The staff kept telling us we didn't have to. Nice beds quiet spot."

"Highly recommend"

"It was a cool looking hotel. I felt the staff weren’t too helpful though. They didn’t really make us feel like home. The restaurant was okay, a bit slow. Didn’t have time to check out the pool. Our room was big, and the blanket was definitely warm. Hot shower. Great. My favourite thing was the observatory experience with David Rivas Romero. This is only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (I think) so we got lucky as we were okay there one night. Worth it. He was so nice and educational. We’ve never...

"Beautiful location in Ollyantambo. Interior like a resort. Staff very friendly. Rooms are beautiful and set up with kitchenette. Mountain view is probably not exactly seen from our window but can see when you step outside. Location is very remote hard to find it. Restaurant empty so may need to go to next town for food. Breakfast was nice and staff accommodating to serve as needed. Loved staying here wish it was busier. Staff very helpful with all our needs and recommended guides and drivers....

"The place was good and relaxing but it is away from town. No activities in hotel. Good if you want to relax before or after machu pichu. Room is clean and has good views. Breakfast was nice"

"The place was well developed and maintained well. Excellent staff, beautiful surroundings."

"O melhor hotel que fiquei em toda minha viagem pelo Peru. Me surpreendeu e muito. Cama maravilhosa, vista maravilhosa, boa localização, chuveiro maravilhoso. Atendimento ótimo"

"The location was convenient. Specially if you’re only staying the night before hiking Machu Picchu, the bus station are literally right up the block. The staff was helpful and provided accurate information and maps for the town. The shower area in room 202 needs work. It is a standing shower (as in most places in South America), but there soap/shampoo holder fell and was never replaced so you have to put your soaps on the floor which could get slippery and dangerous, other then that, the...

"Convenient location, good breakfast and staff were very pleasant and helpful"

"Brilliant hotel just about 5 minutes walk to train station. The staff were lovely and very helpful. There was quite a lot of work being carried out when I was there but still had a lovely quiet room next to the river. The hotel is close to many restaurants, the markets and archaeological sites. I loved Ollantaytambo and I highly recommend this hotel"

"This place is ok for a short stay. The walls are very thin so you can hear noise throughout the building, including people showering next door, and when breakfast is started in the morning. The staff do try to keep noise to a minimum. The room is very basic and so is breakfast."

"Stan and his wife were very helpful on planning our activities to archaeological sites. The breakfast was great and the location was close to main plaza and train station. Also price was affordable. Thank you for the great service."
