Caveat Emptor (do a complete walk through on arrival)
I don't like leaving negatives but there were some issues with this stay.The good:Exactly the type of property we were looking for a family get together (UCR graduation).Pool. Pet friendly. Enough rooms for us. Close to Riverside & Toyota Center.Reasonable pet fee (I suggested that the manager add the fee to the property description so there wasn't any surprises for future guests. I understand a fee is customary, no issue paying it.Next, not so good.(I would have probably overlooked this if it wasn't for the final issue)Trash cans on the street filled to overflow (animals had dug in them). This is odd since the property rules say trash pickup was 1-2 days before we arrived & the rules say make sure the we place the cans on the curb in time for pickup.Pool sweep wasn't working & there was a lot of floating debris so the pool wasn't ready to use when we arrived. The manager dispatched the tech to come over and remedy the issue.Some construction debris (pool was reworked recently) & cigarette butts, etc. in the back yard.The bad (I just can't abide by this).When we checked in there was no one there to do a walk through (OK - access codes worked). We noticed a couple of stains in the MBR carpet. My wife noted they were dry & smelled perfumed/treated. We were charged 150 for carpet damage after checking out. The PM said we didn't declare the issue when we arrived so it was our damage(it wasn't). PM said she would keep me posted but hasn't replied to follow up msgs.
