"The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. Great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of town, even in the rain! Breakfasts were so amazingly good, I tried a different menu each day and was never disappointed. "This is a really fabulous small hotel. The mostly young staff are wonderful and have really good customer service skills. The room we had was large and warm and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with sufficient pillows and some nice cushions.It was apparent that thought had been put in to all aspects of our stay. There were lovely little touches in the room - biscuits, fresh coffee and a cafetière, an extra blanket, and even recycling facilities in the room itself. We had a vegan...

"The staff were very helpful and welcoming on arrival. I had a comfortable and clean room. I had a good bathroom with good lighting and a good shower door so no water leaking out onto the floor which can often happen in hotels. The breakfast was good. So I enjoyed my stay. Thank you to the staff and I will book again to stay here when in the Taunton area. "
