"My partner and I stayed in the cozy cabin, and it was great! It was just the right size for two people. Everything was clean and easy to use. The hot tub was a minute walk from the cabin and was really lovely. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend!"

"Beautiful location 20 minutes outside Eureka. View from patio is incredible and great place to chill. Living area furnishings were fine but not too inviting. Much better suited for 4 people. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of kitchen and bathroom linens and supplies. Host was very responsive."

"Beautiful hiking trails near by, literally the perfect location to explore this beautiful part of California. And to have a hot tub nestled in the redwoods to soak after all that exploring, yes!!!And the beds were so cozy. Such a simple pleasure but often these rentals strike out here. These beds and linens were so comfortable."

"The ZigZag Suite is charming and a bit funky in the best way possible. We really enjoyed our stay there for the following reasons:1. Top of the line bed linens on a very comfy bed and it’s comfy pillows. 2. Quiet, peaceful, residential neighborhood. 3. Every cabinet and drawer were labeled, so no hunting for cups, plates, and utensils. 4. Easy, simple check-in and check-out. 5. Very communicative owners. 6. A book about the history of the house, plus lots of other useful information. "

"The apartment was clean and comfortable, just as described by owner. It was only a block off the square in Arcata so easy access to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family."

"I came with family for a memorial to my late husband. The house accommodated everyone! Each had their own room/bath. The house is immaculate and thoughtfully equipped. The ever-changing view is amazing. Thank you for sharing your home with us. "

"I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy spot, which was a great find while planning our visit to Redwood National Park. It’s just a short drive to the redwoods and several other attractions we wanted to explore during our trip.Overall, the place was clean, welcoming, and matched the description and photos provided.
