"Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going."

"Easy drive to the Acadia NP, great location. Room is clean and nice. Expect some insects outside the room especially at night (which I consider normal as it's close to trees)"

"The property is very convenient to the Bar Harbor Shopping and activity center. The breakfast arrangement with Every Day Joe restaurant was great - good food and very convenient. We tried to find out if we could get into the unit earlier than the general arrival time. Phone numbers provided went to voicemail, text was responded to but never got a message back about it."

"If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them! We have been on a 12 day, multi state trip and Acadia Woods Cottages was our favorite stay! It was immaculately clean, 20-25 minutes from Acadia, and so calm! Truly, we couldn't have asked for anything better! I've already checked flights in hopes to come back!"

"Although the room was clean, and it was easy to access with the keypad, there were a few issues, was there an i e machine?, if so, where? The picture on Virbo was not the room we got. Better shower curtains dripped all over the floor and bath mat. Sink was slow but someone did look at it quickly, and made it works slightly better. No instructions for heater, ac, humidifier. The best I can say was it was clean and the bed was comfortable."

"We had an excellent time at the cottage. Perfect location near Bar Harbor and to explore Acadia NP. The host was responsive and quickly answered our questions. They even had a communal poop bag for those late night strolls for our four legged friend. Perfect spot to our Maine vacation."
