"Very little traffic and very quiet beach. It was early in the year before tourist season but very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. House was very clean. "

"This condo met all our expectations for the long weekend of exploring the area for the first time. It is cute, clean, comfortable and tucked away in the trees with a secluded view from the deck. We relaxed there in the evenings and slept great. Communication exceeded our expectations! We did not utilize the kitchen but it looked well stocked. "

"Our stay at Le Petit Chalet was perfect in every way. Our lodging was comfortable and clean and it is situated in a lovely forest setting. The hosts are almost immediately responsive. We hope to return and highly recommend!"

"Beautifully appointed studio style condo in the woods, but close to Bayfield (6 minute drive). Communication from the owner (Lisa) was outstanding. Very comfortable bed and the condo has more than enough room for 2 people. Would definitely stay here again if we make a return visit to Bayfield!"

"A very cozy little cabin! Perfect size for two or small family. Very accommodating hosts. Wonderful weather! Great place to relax; lovely fire pit outdoors. Kitchenware was well stocked. Close to beach and forest for adventuring. Well utilized space. We would very much enjoy returning!!"

"Staying on the boat was the best adventure. It was easy walking distance to downtown Bayfield. That weekend was Bayfest and it was so much fun. Shopping, food and music. Saturday night there was a big storm, boat rocking back and forth. Still sleep well."

"We stayed for 2 nights and the unit was exactly as listed. The check in was smooth and we had no issues with the unit. Excellent location made walking to and around the downtown area very easy."

"Clean, charming and perfectly positioned in town, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. It was fine for my group of 3 but could easily accommodate 6. We weren't looking to cook, so the kitchenette was fine too. I would stay there again."

"Gooseberry Cottage is set back in the birch and pine forest on the coast of Madeline Island. It's very peaceful, charming and comfortable. I was there to visit with my best friend from grade school and her significant other and meet other friends and family staying at other cabins on Madeline Island. We buried my parents' ashes in Greenwood Cemetery after a small and convivial service celebrating my mother's life as she died last year. We also walked the beach, visited the cliffs at Big Bay...

"As expected. Perfect size for two, kitchen well stocked with utensils, dishes, gadgets. Incredibly clean. Easy parking and easy to get to local attractions by car. Highly recommend. Had an issue (no fault of host) and it was addressed promptly."

"We had a great stay at Hendrickson’s House in Bayfield! The home was very clean and well-maintained, in a nice location close to everything. Perfect for our family of four — plenty of space and comfort. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again!"
