"Clean and updated rooms, plenty of parking. Not many things to do around the property."

"The hotel was fantastic and we stayed here for 4 nights. The continental breakfast was some of the best I have had from a hotel. The coffee machines are available 24/7 and grinds and brews fresh coffee. We had a room with two king beds which is hard to find, but we appreciated very much. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have is the laundry room only had one washer and dryer that took $6 in quarters and closed at night."

"The hotel is very dated—it doesn’t appear to have been remodeled in many years. We booked a King for one night and one of the TVs in the room didn’t work. Other functional TV was very old and had limited channels. Good place to spend a night if needed and if the price is right. Conveniently located near the freeway and in-n-out. Unfortunately for us, we overpaid for this stay because of the holiday weekend. Imho, wasn’t worth what we paid for."

"I would never stay there again! The room (floor, lamps, sheets) was filthy. I needed the manager to get the air conditioning working. There were hardly any amenities. Breakfast was, at best, ok. If I wasn't in such a bind to stay somewhere, I would not have picked there. It definitely was not worth the almost $250 dollars I spent to stay there. I should get my money back."

"Disgusting. Checked into room wirh old food in fridge and spilled liquid. Given another room. Room has no desk, a metal folding chair and 2 towels. Paid $200 and not worth more than $50...if that. Stay away!"

"The property was disgusting. Just to open the door was a bit of a challenge. The card reader wasn’t reading our key. Once we got inside our hotel, the sheets were dirty. It smelled awful in there. The walls were really dirty. The restroom looked a mess. We asked the man at the front desk for a different hotel room. He switched us to another one just near the same, this one had a hole in the bathroom door. After that, I just asked for a refund. I highly don’t recommend staying here."

"This is a lovely 1800s former plantation home decorated with comfortable period-inspired decor. The owners are lovely and helpful."

"We stayed here with family and a young child, while we were visiting Monterey. We loved the place. The staff were helpful and breakfast was great! The only gripe we had was that the bathroom door was too heavy to handle."

"This was our second visit and bravo. Love the trails, doggy restaurant, accessibility to the beach. Great food and views . Love the amenities and classes, especially the sound bath. This is our ultimate destination for mental resetting."

"We absolutely loved the location right by our favorite Marina State Beach! We could have spent hours on that beautiful, long, clean stretch of sand listening to the crashing waves. Our room itself was wonderful too. Just a tiny heads-up: the hotel provides bar soap instead of body wash gel, which was a little inconvenient for us, and breakfast was just okay. The only real bump in our stay was that our neighbors were quite loud late at night. Hearing voices and laughing late into the evening made...

"Parking here was plentiful but the rooms are small, misleading descriptions when you are booking your room. The bed is tiny as hell, no amenities just a bar of soap for your hands but that's to be expected at Motel 6. I didnt use the shower so don't know how that is but our toilet got clogged easily when we didn't use that much toilet paper. Says it's on the ground level but you still have to go upstairs when heading to your room. Small TV as well. Felt like we were in a shoebox."
