In December, 2020 all the units of the Palace Hotel were sold as individual condos. Prior to this, unit 305 was referred to as the Madonna Mine Suite. Named after the large silver mine that brought and employed many early residents of Salida. This large 2 bedroom suite has been completely remodeled and refurnished. The Luxe Suite at the Palace Hotel is the best place to enjoy a luxurious modern experience in a beautiful historic location. *This condo is located in the heart of downtown Salida. There are working restaurants and bars in the area. Be prepared for a truly urban experience.

This suite offers:
-Newly remodeled 2 bedroom luxury suite on the third floor of Salida's Historic Palace Hotel.
- 1 king bed
-1 bunk bed (full over queen)
- pull out sofa in the living room.
-Full kitchen, including refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and kitchen utensils and accessories.
-2 TV's ready to stream.
-Wifi
-Guest Laundry
-Located downtown just steps away from the Arkansas River, Riverside Park, shops and restaurants.
-Street Parking
-Please note- there is not an elevator in this building.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchenette, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent and toiletries.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 1-2 days before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This suite is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

We visited Great Sand Dunes and stayed in Salida on our way back to Denver. It was a perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful aspens that were in full peak colors. Salida is a great mountain town. Our suite at the Palace Hotel was perfect. Beds were super comfy!

Super cute, modern condo in the perfect downtown Salida downtown. The condo was great for my daughter and I. It is right next to the Boat House restaurant and walkable to everything which is what we were after. We only stayed one night but it seemed to be well equipped. There was a little noise from people outside in the evening which may be an issue for some so this might not be the right location for everyone. I appreciated the updated styling of the room and it was nice and bright.

Location is fantastic with respect to all of the things to do on F Street. The water pressure in the shower and the shower set-up itself wasn't quite what we hoped for. Unfortunately, two of us slipped on the mat getting into the bathtub to take a shower, but caught ourselves before falling. Overall a pleasant stay, though.

Great Stay

We stopped in Salida after going to the Great Sand Dunes - the location of the Palace Hotel was great with great shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The unit was immaculate and perfect for our stay!

Convenient downtown stay

Great small condo right in downtown Salida! Super easy to get everywhere. Only challenge could be parking and all the stairs to get to the unit. Otherwise clean and fairly well stocked for a weekend stay :)

Nice antiquey little place in the heart of Salida

Great place, great hosts. No dedicated parking. Just street parking, which is often readily avaliable, but during peak hours or during events you might have significant difficulty finding a spot.

Darling, well-located place!

We loved staying in this darling apartment. The decor is outstanding, it is in the best possible location in town, and it was just wonderful being surrounded by the history of Salida. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this cute little town!

Beautiful Salida Gem!

We stayed here for a girls trip and this suite was just incredible. Beautiful, clean, light-filled space, great views of the mountains, really comfy beds. Location is incredible right by the river and all the cute ships and restaurants downtown. The Palace Hotel is iconic and so thankful we are able to stay here still!

Great location!

We loved the location of this cute 2 bedroom. It was walking distance to all of the great spots downtown. What we weren’t prepared for was that we would need to shark for street parking on a busy Saturday night. Which wouldn’t have been bad except we were a tired group of skiers ready for bed! We would definitely come back when we are not in town to ski! Hosts were great with communication.

Pleasant stay

Super convenient along main street and within a block of the river and downtown park (and most importantly, the Boathouse Cantina). Room setup was great for us with two adults and two school age kids. TV worked well and allowed streaming from our home streaming services that logs out automatically on checkout. Only things to be aware of are that it's a third floor walk up and the bathtub has a high lip to climb over. Could be an issue for folks with mobility issues, but no problem for us. Will be back!

We enjoyed our stay. Managing the heat was a challenge initially, but we were able to adjust once we realized the thermostat temperature settings were incorrect. Not having an elevator to the third floor would have been fine if my wife wasn't wearing a boot, so we minimized our trips in and out. All and all, we would stay there again.
