This fully self-contained, 2 bedroom ground floor apartment situated in Oaks 'Pacific Blue' Resort, Salamander Bay is a resort which offers many different varieties of entertainment for every member of the family, these range from activities for the adventurous type right through to the perfect relaxing getaway. As our guest you'll also have access to all the amazing facilities the resort has to offer, including the lagoon pool, the longest pool in the southern hemisphere, a fitness center, tennis courts, a sauna, and two hot tubs.

Salamander Bay offers it s own charming and unique attractions for visitors, like many of the neighbouring towns in Port Stephens and along the New South Wales coastline.
Time seems to have stood still in Salamander Bay. Rolling white sand kisses the pristine and glistening ocean, the food and wine here is fit for gods; this is a taste of paradise.
Time here is best spent outdoors, either exploring the beautiful bay or surrounding parkland or simply pulling out the picnic set and lazing in the sun. Produce from the near by Hunter Valley is a must!

Wanda Beach is located towards the northern end of the town, where it joins Soldiers Point, the next village to the north.
In the summer, this beach is a popular place to swim, especially in front of George Reserve, where there is less seaweed. Enjoy a dip in the bay, children can enjoy the playground, and there are BBQs, and restrooms in the little reserve.
The short walk away leads to Wanda Wanda Head, which may be found by strolling south along the beach.
There are markers explaining the nautical history of the area along the Mariners Walk Heritage Trail, which runs the length of the Soldiers Point and Salamander Bay peninsulas.
Take a stroll along Wanda Wanda Head s trail, which begins at the end of Wanda Beach, to get a taste of the 3.3-kilometer-long trek.
It s an interesting look into the history of the area in the present day.

Pets are not welcome at this property.

The charging of any electric vehicles, electric bicycle, electric scooter, electric skateboard, segway or other like devices (Electric Personal Mobility Devices) or the battery for an Electric Personal Mobility Device is Prohibited in this property.

To ensure the comfort of our guests and neighbours, we do not accept bookings for 'Schoolies' breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow parties of any sort.

Kindly note a deposit of 50% AUD of total amount will be charged at time of confirmation. An option of direct deposit and credit card is offered.

A $500 Security Deposit (pre authorisation) is to be held. The bond will be processed prior to arrival. We only accept Mastercard or visa.

You can check in anytime between the hours of 3pm and 5pm on Weekdays. On weekdays after-hours, weekends and public holidays there is an afterhours check-in service. If you require this service, please inform one of the members at LJ Hooker Nelson Bay prior to your day of arrival.

Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed on our website which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email. This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence.

Terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you.

The guests limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies including security deposit. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 pm and 8.00 am.

Overall the property was good. We liked the location it was close to most shops so it was convenient. There was no bbq as advertised at time of booking. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

This is such a great location across the road from shops, also has a restaurant in the resort. As soon as you walk out your back gate the pool is right there for you to jump in. Check in was seamless, they have a kitchen with pots, pans, knives and forks. No internal laundry, there is a coin operated washer/dryer a few doors down. I would’ve given 5 stars but unfortunately we had a lot of cockroaches in the apartment while we were there. It also wasn’t really clean, we found leftover food under the beds. Other than that, we loved it. Perfect space for a family of 4

We stayed for seven days and were only provided with two rolls of toilet paper, with no option to receive clean towels during our stay, which was disappointing. The bedding was hotel-style sheets without a doona cover, making it difficult to keep clean over a longer stay. The property also had an unpleasant smell, and the back door was broken.This accommodation may be suitable for short stays, but it is not well set up for longer visits and did not feel worth the nightly rate.

Everything in one place

Fully self contained two bedroom ground floor villa with own garden/bbq area out back. Lovely resort with enormous pool wrapping around entire property. Very close to shops and restaurants.

Don't make me go home.

I would go back in a heart beat. Very clean unit had everything I needed. The staff at LJ Hooker Nelson Bay were fantastic from the time I booked till I handed them back the key sadly. The Resort was beautiful the pool amazing and the Resort Staff were also fantastic. Can't wait till next year.

Good but needs update and clean

Dont think its really a 4star, the couches are very old and shabby, kitchenware all miss matched bits and pieces, just think they need to really re furnish maybe even paint.besides the pool definitely not more than a 3 star, id also recommend you ad a bbq.
