"You cannot beat the location, as it is right on the main drag and across from the water, and close to the ferry. It’s also close to shops and restaurants. The staff is very helpful, as I had misplaced an item and they were able to hold it for me. The onsen in the basement is great. The tatami mats in the room are fine, and the futons are also comfortable. The bathroom is a bit outdated, but everything works."

"The hotel is fantastic. Location is ideal, steps away from the ferry terminal and a short walk from the shore across from the O-torii gate. "Beautiful location, clean room and excellent onsen to soak in. During our stay, we were treated to a great selection of shampoo/conditioner, ice cream, drinks etc. Food was excellent as well. The hotel offers a free boat ride to Miyajima at 10am and a return trip at 3.30pm (needs reservation). It's a 15-min walk from the train station but you can get an uber if you miss the hotel shuttle. "This hotel is very conveniently located near the ferry station, making it ideal for visiting Miyajima early in the morning or later in the evening, away from the crowds. Miyajimaguchi itself is also a pleasant area to relax and enjoy good seafood. The room was clean, efficient and cozy, and the staff were very kind and helpful. A lot of amenities provided. I also discovered buckwheat pillows here for the first time and absolutely loved them — I will definitely look into getting one back home! "

"Just OK. Not a high end hotel but OK. They should tell you about parking - which is offsite. We had to guess where to park. Also, very hard to get a taxi at night. Room was small but OK. Very hard to deal with the A/C controls."
