  • La casa principal tiene capacidad para 12/14 personas y mide 400 metros cuadrados repartidos en dos plantas.
    (El anexo tiene capacidad para 4 personas más; descripción más abajo). En total, 16/18 huéspedes.

    En la casa principal hay 6 dormitorios dobles, 2 de ellos con cama supletoria, y todos con baño privado con bañera o ducha. Techos con vigas de roble y baldosas de terracota en toda la planta baja. Cocina diáfana totalmente equipada, 2 salones, comedor, lavadero y 2 recibidores. Terraza abierta de 120 metros cuadrados con barbacoa. El comedor tiene capacidad para 20 personas y la cocina es lo suficientemente grande y práctica como para atender a un grupo que ocupe toda la casa.
    Televisión por satélite, buena conexión a Internet, ping-pong, petanca, zona de juegos con fútbol y bádminton, piscina climatizada de 12 m x 6 m y vistas despejadas a los jardines y al parque. La piscina está abierta de abril a octubre y cuenta con una gran cubierta que permite bañarse haga el tiempo que haga.
    Jardín apartado y amplio aparcamiento, acceso a 5 acres de parque ajardinado.

    Se proporcionan sábanas y toallas; las camas ya están hechas.
    No se proporcionan toallas de playa ni de piscina.
    Se incluye la limpieza semanal de los dormitorios.
    En la casa principal hay 3 camas dobles y 8 individuales con colchones de látex hipoalergénicos. Echa un vistazo a la distribución de las habitaciones para ver toda la información.

    En el granero anexo hay 2 habitaciones, cada una con capacidad para 2 personas, y una sala de estar privada. Hay un baño compartido con ducha, bañera y aseo.

    Situada en una pequeña aldea rural a 3 km de la encantadora localidad de St Saëns y del magnífico bosque de Eawy, el hayedo más grande de Europa. A 1 hora y 45 minutos de Calais, a 1 hora de Le Havre, a 40 minutos de Dieppe y de playas limpias y vírgenes.

Tout était parfait et conforme à nos attentes ! La maison est très bien équipée et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour accueillir un grand groupe dans les meilleures conditions.Les lits sont très confortables, la terrasse est agréable et idéale pour partager de bons moments, et la piscine est un vrai plus qui rend le séjour encore plus plaisant.Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons cette location sans hésiter. Nous y reviendrions avec grand plaisir !

Rymligt för en stor familj eller annan grupp. Gott om duschar och toaletter. Privat läge utan insyn. Poolen stor, ren och fin. Gott om utomhusspel och sittplatser. Stor grill. Gott om plats i köket att laga mat tillsammans när man är många och vill äta hemma på kvällen. Vi har haft en toppensemester.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille dans ce beau domaine très cosy et bien équipé - la propriété se trouve dans un énorme coin de verdure tout ce qu’il faut pour décompresser - nous remercions aussi la propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et son écoute - sans problème nous reviendrons

Weekend entre amis

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La maison ainsi que ses extérieurs sont bien entretenus et Les hôtes sont à l'écoute et disponibles ce qui est très appréciable. Nous y reviendrons.

Family holiday

The property was ideal for the wide age range of our group with areas for relaxation and quiet and a fabulous covered pool which was popular with the children. Very well equipped and comfortable. Good communication with the host and seamless check in and out. Altogether a really great holiday venue.

Family Gathering

Our Canadian add UK family met here for a much anticipated reunion. This is a gorgeous property that provided plenty of space for ten adults and six children. The house is lovely with a well stocked kitchen, lots of comfortable sitting areas, and a great patio where we sat outside for meals and evening chats. The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the big pool. Kate was a lovely, helpful host. All in all a great stay!

A good range of facilities in an extensive property. Maintained to a high standard. No complaints whatsoever except for the proliferation of wasps - but inevitable in the countryside in an August like this

Super week end dans une maison très agréable

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week end familial dans la propriété de Kate. La maison est très agréable et très confortable ( nous étions 18 dont 4 enfants) avec une mention spéciale pour la cuisine ( très conviviale et très bien équipée). En plus de la piscine la maison dispose d'un grand espace extérieur où petits et grands ont pu s'ébattre et courir. Nous rêvons déjà d'y retourner. Merci beaucoup à Kate pour son accueil ( Kate est très réactive et très arrangeante)

Vivement conseillé pour les grandes familles

Charmante et discrète hôtesse.Maison super propre et super bien équipée :tant à la cuisine que pour la vaisselle/ savon et essuies de Sdb/ jeux de société Très bonne literie avec le confort d’avoir les lits faits à l.arrivée.Température de la grande piscine délicieuse.Le tout dans des bâtiments de Charme et un très grand jardin si joliment planté avec de multiples coins de jeux ( ping ping, balançoires ,…Le paradis sur terre Beaucoup d’activités possibles aux alentours ( culturel, animaux, promenade, baptême de l’air, mer…)Vous pouvez la louer les yeux fermés. Tout est conforme au descriptif

We stayed as an extended family of 14. Grand parents on the ground floor as they are less mobile however just to be clear there is no en suite and there are two separate steps down to the nearest bathroom - which is very close to the bedroom. That said the grand parents gave their review as 10 out of 10. Other rooms in the main house offered plenty of space and necessary furniture etc. we also used the annex which worked well. Pool was lovely, gardens were lovely, cool, peaceful and private. The outside sitting area was perfect - secluded and sheltered. The kitchen was well equipped and we didn’t want for anything. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The oven was large and could easily cater for a large group. The fridge could have been a little more efficient/cooler but it worked hard!Nearby Saint Saens was lovely. We walked and cycled around the area. Loved all the chalk streams running through nearby villages. Perfect to visit Rouen and also the north coast beaches for a swim in the sea. Overall we would recommend it as an excellent base to visit neighbouring communities or simply to hunker down and enjoy the peace and serenity of the house, buildings and garden. We enjoyed playing petanque too. Kate was super- attentive, helpful and nearby if needed. Thank you. Would we stay again…?? YES!

A lovely slice of Norman tranquility!

We had a lovely stay at Kate's place, which was ideally suited for a big group of 8 adults and 6 kids under 5. The domain in which the house is situated is superb, with lots of space for kids to play. The weather wasn't great, so the indoor covered pool was a great asset in that regard! The house itself is large and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The floors upstairs were very creaky and the showers are a bit dated, but that was our only observation in an otherwise fantastic place. Kate herself lives on the domain, which was completely fine for our group but is something for visitors to be aware of. The barn, which has three bedrooms and separate living space, was perfect for one of our families, but is separated by Kate's house in between and is a 5 minute walk away from the main house. Again not a problem in itself, but something to be aware of if you are travelling with small children who would sleep there in the evening -- we needed a mobile app baby monitor as the signal of the normal device did not travel. Big thank you to Kate for her warm welcome and responsiveness, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Excellent séjour pour 4 générations

Très agréable séjour dans ce domaine pour notre famille de 19 personnes, de 1 à 91 ans, répartie sur les trois sites, permettant une vie diurne et nocturne variable et adaptée à chaque génération. Propreté impeccable, agencements charmants, sobres et efficaces. Kate est accueillante, gaie, chaleureuse et disponible. Entre vaches et chevaux, l'environnement champêtre est calme et revigorant. Les espaces communs (terrasse, patio, cuisine, salons) sont vastes et agréablement organisés. Le parc est très grand et bien entretenu, avec une petite note un peu sauvage très sympathique. L'équipement est suffisant pour des séjours de vacances. Les chambres et salles de bain fonctionnelles (à noter: deux chambres en enfilade = 3 lits simples). La piscine est parfaite, grande, protégée et chauffée, confortable. A noter: s'il y a bien une chambre accessible aux PMR, la piscine est éloignée du bâtiment principal et s'y rendre en chaise roulante (via chemin caillouté et gazon) ou pour une personne affaiblie sur le plan moteur est fort ardu . Saint-Saëns, tout proche, regorge de bonnes adresses (on recommande vivement la boutique "Le Verger de la Varenne" et le boucher qui est juste en face: la Boucherie de Centre sur la place principale).

Memorable family experience with excellent host

Our family had an incredible, memorable stay in the Normandy region, steeped in history, which was based out of Kate’s lovely estate and enriched by her kind facilitation and personal involvement with the welcoming local community. We stayed in the main house, which provided ample private sleeping areas and lovely communal areas for cooking, eating, and socializing (both inside and outside) by our 11 adult family members. The highlight of our stay was meeting with some of the local residents to share remembrances of some poignant experiences from World War II, and Kate went above and beyond to help us make connections and share our stories. Kate has a wealth of knowledge about the local area and the rich history enshrined there, and we are grateful for these deep and personal connections. We will be forever indebted to Kate for her enriching contributions to our experience. We used Kate’s estate as a home base, which was well situated for exploring the greater Normandy region and returning to a tranquil spot for the evenings. The gardens are quite beautiful, and we wish we’d had more time to enjoy the pool and the grounds for playing family games. We highly recommend this estate as a wonderful gathering place for families and friends, whether it be to explore the region, enjoy a peaceful respite, or both. We would love to return to enjoy more time there. Again, we thank Kate for her warm hospitality.

Great Family Holiday

A great place for a family holiday - all 17 of us! Lots of space for children to run and play - the pool was a HUGE favourite with the kids and adults. Super fully equipped kitchen and dining areas inside and out big enough for us all. Not 5-star luxury, but for converted farm buildings in rural France it was comfortable and welcoming. Thanks Kate.

Un lieu idéal pour se retrouver entre amis

Nous avons organisé un séjour entre amis avec des enfants. La propriété est parfait pour recevoir tout ce beau monde (15 adultes et 4 enfants) avec plusieurs espaces grand, on ne se sent pas à l étroit. Salle de bain dans toutes les chambres (vrai plus) grande table pour recevoir au moins 20 adultes et cerise sur le gâteau il y a deux bâtisses donc ceux qui souhaitent le calme peuvent aller dans la petite maison. Les propriétaires sont plus que charmant à l écoute et toujours disponibles ils vous font sentir comme chez vous Et la piscine très très grande chauffe et couverte c était la cerise sur le gâteau

Good experience, nice is big and convenient for welcoming many couples as rooms have separate bathroom. Summer was rainy so garden wasn't at its best state though.

Heerlijke week

Met 18 vrienden hadden we een heerlijke week bij Les Ecuries. Het huis is prachtig, ruim, de kapel en het tweede huisje van 6p maken het ideaal voor kleine gezinnen binnen je vriendengroep (we hadden twee jonge kinderen mee). St Saens is om de hoek en heeft alle voorzieningen. Kate was supergastvrij en snel te bereiken. Het zou fijn zijn om eens terug te gaan!

Week-end au top en campagne Normande

Très bon séjour passé au domaine les Écuries ! Kate est chaleureuse et avenante, très disponible. Domaine vaste, bien équipé avec de multiples activités possibles.
