The town of Aubusson, known primarily for its long history as a producer of fine tapestries and carpets, is also worth a visit. The town's main attraction is the tapestry museum, which displays a collection of tapestries from the last 400 years. The centre of the old town is the 17th century stone bridge over the Creuse.
