"More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again."

"The perfect hotel for a city break. Ideally situated, close to the station, shops, bars & restaurants. I was a little skeptical at 1st due to the low cost, but I was pleasantly surprised. "It was a lovely well equipped air B and B. Very good location and good communication with the owner who got back to me pretty quickly when I contacted her. Very comfortable bed and a nice shower room. Accessible to all even the slightly less mobile. "

"Qua locatie een goed verblijf. Het was een zeer ruim appartement/huis, maar niet proper en wat afgeleefd. Wij waren met 5, maar de 5e slaapplaats was een doorgezakt inklapbed, er waren maar 4 stoelen en maar 4 vorken. Verduistering was ook kapot. Parking was merendeel van de tijd niet beschikbaar (wel betaalparking op wandelafstand). De andere verblijven waren volgens mij niet aan toeristen verhuurd. Geen aanrader voor reis met gezin."

"Lovely apartment, great staff who fixed a hot water issue within 15 mins of reporting. They also checked in with us once again in the morning to make sure all was fine. Can be noisy at night hearing people move around their apartments as there are 4 floors. But not really anyway around that so it’s no one’s fault. Good location with an NCP carpark accross the road."

"The apartment was clean spacious and quiet considering how close it is to the station. Communication with Ray and Gareth as hosts was fantastic, and they were so accommodating with an early check in and out time. Would definitely recommend. If I had to make any comments, the mezzanine has a very low ceiling with steep stairs, and for the 4 beds upstairs there is only one plug. Also it's quite hard to be quiet for others as all the rooms are open! (Bar the bathroom). But didn't detract for us as...
