  • From this architect-designed cabin, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Harefjord through the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The large living room creates a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, where the spacious balcony becomes a natural extension of the living room.





    The interior is characterized by thoughtful solutions and quality materials. In both the main building and the annex, you wake up to a magnificent view of the fjord. Sliding doors in both buildings provide direct access to the balcony, where you can enjoy your morning coffee in peace and quiet.





    Around the cabin, wild plants and flowers grow in the natural garden. Between the main building and the annex you'll find an inviting terrace with garden furniture, perfect for long summer evenings. Here you can enjoy the sun from several places - the jetty, the rocky outcrop, the balcony or the terrace.





    In the surrounding area, you can explore the beautiful Kilaöen island by boat or canoe, or head to the long sandy beach just a few hundred meters away. The Harefjord is known for its excellent pike-perch fishing, and with a valid fishing license you can try your luck both from land and water.

The house was a dream! Beautiful architecture, stylish and well-thought-out decor, and a gorgeous location right on the lake. Anne Marit and Frode were very knowledgeable and friendly hosts and responded promptly to all of our requests. We enjoyed every minute and would book the house again in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay, and we really appreciated the hospitality and care that you’ve shown us. As you warned us about, most of the restaurants and shops were closed, and unfortunately Google wasn’t up to date with the openingtimes. Luckily, the kitchen was amazing and very complete, both the appliances and cutlery as well as the oil, pepper etc. The beds were comfortable and the blinds worked perfectly. We prefer to have the room completely dark and that was no issue. The fireplace added a lot to the cosy vibe of the cabin, especially during the rainy days. It was great that everything was included to use the fireplace and the amount of wood included was more than sufficient. The view from the cabin was amazing and we enjoyed just watching the different kind of birds that flew around. The only improvement that we could think of is that during our stay a common blackbird (Merel in Dutch) tried to fly through the big Windows three times. The poor bird was okay luckily, but maybe there is a solution to prevent that? All in all, our stay had been fantastic. So thank you very much for letting us stay in the amazing cabin and being such lovely hosts!
