"The woman at the front desk switched us to a single queen bed room even though we had booked and paid in advance for a single king bed room. When I went back to the front desk to complain, she tried to convince that she gave me an upgrade by downgrading the bed size. She was rude and unprofessional. "

I made sure on Expedia I bought a room with an ocean view which is wonderful but of course it's several blocks from the ocean, but it's way better than the freeway view. "The best thing was the view! ☀️and we had good weather. The room was clean but needed some touch-up paint. Our coffee was only regular (no decaf) but when we needed more supplies the “desk” at Sea Horse resort didn’t have clue where we could get what we needed. (As a side note she delivered expired packets) Something to really consider is the noise of the trains coming and going. It was noticeable but not a dealbreaker.
