Up to 16 people can stay close to UC Davis in this 5 bedroom and 3 bath close to 2100 square foot house!

Master and 2nd bedroom have a queen bed each. 3rd and 4th bedrooms have a bunk bed (full top and full bottom) each. 5th kids bedroom has a twin bed. Living and family rooms have a full sleeper sofa each. Kitchen is well equipped. There is garage and driveway parking. WiFi, washer & dryer provided.

About a mile from UC Davis. Walk to Holmes Jr High.

Thanksgiving Family Reunion

The location was ideal and the communication went well. Unfortunately, the state of the property was dismal- dirty dishes in the dishwasher, crumbs on stove, coffee maker neglect to the point there was substantial green mold in coffee grounds and filter left in the maker, a roll of toilet paper was displayed in the paper towel holder- everything felt neglected and unkempt. While there was plenty of room for our family one of the bunk bed lower bunks was broken causing my nephew and his wife to pull the mattress on to the floor in order to sleep. One of the bathroom sinks in the master on- suite was clogged and brown water came out…one of the toilets stopped up and there was an inadequate plunger. The majority of the time family was at our home in Davis-but overall the stay was not comfortable And I would be hesitant to recommend this home with out caution- but it was an excellent location!

Great location and size but not well stocked

This house could be an amazing place to stay when celebrating a graduation from Davis or just visiting. It is large and the location is great- you can walk to Upper Crust Bakery and the co-op. With a little thought it could be amazing. But it is poorly stocked. Only one towel each- no hand towels or face cloths and no kitchen towels. But the worst was the silverware. There were a total of four forks and knives in a house that sleeps 13 (we had 10) which is ironic because they charge you extra for extra people. The bunk beds are pretty rickety so one of our group took the mattress off and put it in the floor. We had a great time but as far as the house it could have been so much better. Also the garbage and recycling were totally overflowing which seemed like a health risk and when I went to put things in the compost it was full of garbage.

Great location but amenities not all in working conditions with add’l charge per person per day

Did not expect there’s per person per day charge on top of advertised daily rate. Amenities not in working conditions on arrival including shower head broken off, one room’s door knob fell off and not able to open from outside (a 3 years old and 2 years old were in the room - fortunately their dad was able to wriggle the door open without breaking down the door), no hot water in one bathroom sink, not enough bathroom toilet paper and hand washing soap (had to buy our own on second day), refrigerator was not cleaned with one drawer missing and others taped with duct tape to hold up the corners, cooking appliances were outdated. Notified host the next day and the host sent a handyman to address our problems the following morning (third day of our 6-day rental).

A little unhappy

I dislike the fact that tv on master bedroom did not work and tv on living room only showed 2 channels wifi worked on the third day of us staying there also the light from out side did not worked and it was to dark see had to use lamps we found cockroaches and spiders on two of the rooms I think you need to fumigate if I can get any sort of discount I would really appreciate it thank you

Large home, some amenities lacking

This home was a great fit for our family with 4bdrms & 3bathrooms. But, the kitchen was sparsely furnished, with no plates or glasses. I ended up going to goodwill & donating 6 dinner plates & glasses to the kitchen. No sharp knives. The beds in 2 of the bedrooms are comfortable, but the bunk bed mattress in the other 2 bedrooms don't hold up to the occupants weight, making the rails on the bottom very uncomfortable, so mattresses had to be moved to the floor for comfort. One of the beds rails are broken so that made it even worse.

We stayed at this property while college move in. Location and neighborhood are quiet and convenient to anything around. House was clean, lots of space, and owner responded quickly to any questions. Home is older but very functional, and would stay again if available.

Family Reunion in Davis

This house is in an amazing location in Davis! Close to everything we wanted and the neighborhood was so nice. It was also huge - the bedrooms are all large, the family and dining rooms have plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Not what we expected

When we got to the property there were several things that were disappointing. 1. The shower in one bathroom gave only ice cold or steaming hot water, no in between. 2. The vertical blinds on the sliding glass door in the master bedroom were broken 3. The dishwasher was left full from the previous people 4. The screen door on the front door wouldn't close 5. There wasn't a garbage can in the master bedroom/bathroom 6. No ice cube trays 7. The house garbage can was left on the street. I did connect with the phone number left and people did come out the same day to sort many of these problems. However, it was really a disappointment to have to deal with all of it.

Needs work, stocking, and cleaning , but location is good

We have never actually encountered a property that was this dirty on check in or this unstocked. It seemed nobody had checked the property in quite sometime as there were spider webs on the door and the coffee filter was still in place and molded, the diswasher was full and not working, the microwave appeared as though it had never been cleaned, one of the pillows had drops of blood, one of the blankets had dried snot. The blinds in the master were literally falling apart and not functional. All of the shower curtains need replacing. The appliances are all extremely outdated (I would guess about 30yrs old). There is no ice maker, not even ice trays or ice box. Not stocked well at all - there was not even salt and pepper. The pots and pans are very old and worn and scratched on the bottom. There were no washcloths available or hand towels. There were no extra blankets and the pillows were low quality. There was no manual with any information about the property at all. The garage door seems to be not working very well and on its last legs. There was no garage door opener provided either. There was a door leading into the garage that was acutally completely unlocked when we arrived. No attention to detail or care has been put into this property. It is not up to VRBO standards in the current condition. It needs a serious deep clean and updating. When I mentioned to the property manager about things not being clean or the dishwasher being broken and not unloaded when we arrived - he did not comment or seem concerned at all. When I tried to call the phone number he provided for issues - there was no answer, the mailbox was full, and although I texted my number to request a call back - I was never called back. The positive about this property is that it is in a quiet pleasant neighborhood so there were no noise issues. It is a spacious house and it could be nice with a very deep clean, fixing of broken items, and some stocking and attention to details.

Very comfortable

The home was a short drive to the events we were attending in Sacramento. Very nice, quiet neighborhood. The home was very comfortable and clean. Checking in and out was a smooth process.

Nice Property Very Friendly Neighborhood

The house itself is nice. It’s a fairly large home in a neighborhood full of friendly people. The air conditioning and wi fi were great. The fridge and microwave could use some updating, but other than that it’s nearby a lot of things in Davis. My family enjoyed the property for the month we stayed there.
